Women are known by those they have raised, and the mothers of the free resistors have indeed raised steadfast men who struggle for the truth. The late Umm Hassan raised and nurtured a man who walked the path of resistance until he became a distinguished leader and a shining symbol of it. Through his courage and insightful mind, he bestowed upon her dignity and strength. He is feared and trusted by enemies before friends. He worked to establish the foundations of truth and justice and to lift oppression from the oppressed.
