This morning, the funeral of Al-Qassam Brigades leader in Lebanon, martyr Sharhabeel Al-Sayyid, took place in Al-Manara in the Bekaa. Sharhabeel was assassinated on Friday by an IOF drone strike near the Lebanese-Syrian border.
From training the youth of the resistance to delivering supplies to exiled fighters in Marj Al-Zuhur, Sharhabeel was an upstanding man of the resistance, who dedicated decades of his life to the cause.
Dr. Omar Kaid, in his eulogy of Al-Sayyid, stated: "We knew Sharhabeel as a leader in the scout camps. He had a friendly, kind, beautiful, and cheerful personality, and everyone who knew him loved him. He had a unique and special way of training, teaching, and educating. He would guide you to the difficult goal with encouragement, applause, humor, and celebration, instilling a spirit of competition and challenge in the hearts of the boys."
