The body of the Palestinian Boycott National Committee (BNC), which practically specializes in co-opting the efforts and activities of local movements in countries around the world, issued a statement directing American university students who launched a wide movement that the Committee knows better than anyone else has nothing to do with it, neither directly or indirectly.
The statement demands that no group or solidarity coalition defend the Palestinian resistance, raise its slogans, or support it in any way. The Palestinian people, who are shedding rivers of blood to affirm their right to resist the occupation by all means, are in no way represented by a group that tries to reduce the scope of support for their struggle by all means under empty paternalistic justifications that offer nothing to their proponents except a comfortable, colonially and "israeli"-approved struggle.
What is incomprehensible is that a representative body claiming to be both Palestinian and national calls for boycotting the occupation by asking the currently revolting student movements in American universities not to support the Palestinian resistance?! Unless we revert to the analyses of some that the establishment of these bodies originally aims to control any real movement in the cause of international boycott of the occupation state, which becomes evident during real and crucial junctures like the ongoing "israeli" genocide in Gaza.
