🚨 Students at Liverpool John Moores University in England have occupied Leila Khaled's Hall (formerly "Tom Riley's Building") in solidarity with the Palestinian people, asking their community to join them.

In response to zionist crimes and in solidarity with the Palestinian struggle, in the face of the University's refusal to meet the demands of the Liverpool encampment, the students have launched an indefinite occupation of the building.

The occupiers note the long history of British complicity in zionist crimes, long before 1947, and have added to their demands the cancellation of suspension of students at the nearby University of Manchester, in a demonstration of unity across campuses.

"We, the students who have occupied and seized Leila Khaled’s Hall, recognise the brutality faced by students globally by the violent fist of their national bourgeoisie is the same violent force that has forced the Palestinian people from their homes, torn apart their families and appropriated their resources; this force being British and American imperialism. The fascist violence we have seen our comrades face from New York to New Dheli, is merely the violence of imperialism brought home. Resistance and defeat of these forces, of imperialism, of fascism, of capitalism in its purest essence, is imperative to the survival not only of the Palestinian people, but to humanity as a whole."

The students occupying Leila Khaled's Hall are demanding: full financial and cultural divestment from the zionist entity, recognizing the inviolable rights of the Palestinian people, including right to armed resistance and denouncing normalization (the thawabit), banning BAE, HPE, and other zionist companies from recruiting on campus, disclosure of investments, and amnesty for students, staff, and faculty disciplined for pro-Palestinian actions.

🚨 Pro-Palestinian activists in Athens, Greece announced the occupation of Nomikh Law School in the center of the city last night (Media 1-4).

The occupation comes with the 76th anniversary of the Nakba. "Millions of people have been displaced repeatedly in every corner of Gaza, amid incessant bombardment, deliberate starvation, and a health crisis...and since May 7, has been under a complete siege and blockade... In the face of this appalling genocidal violence, Palestinians continue to resist."

"The time to escalate for Gaza is long overdue. The people and the resistance call on all people to escalate their actions, to act forcibly to halt complicity and normalization with the criminal zionist entity."
