The Popular Front welcomes the General Assembly's vote for Palestine's membership request and considers it a fruit of our people's steadfastness and resistance.

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine welcomed the United Nations General Assembly's vote today, Friday, with a large majority in favor of Palestine's membership request in the international organization, considering it a fruit of our people's steadfastness and resistance and the global solidarity with Palestine, its cause, and its people.

The Front clarified that although this decision carries a symbolic character due to the American veto in the Security Council, it is a prelude to significant changes in favor of the Palestinian cause, which increase the isolation of the zionist entity, and expose the biased American role and its involvement in the ongoing zionist crimes against the Palestinian people.

The Front emphasized that the failure of the international institution so far in doing justice to the Palestinian people and achieving their historical rights reaffirms that it needs internal reforms in its regulations and decision-making mechanisms, away from American influence.

The Front concluded its statement by affirming that the escalation of the popular movement worldwide, led by the students' intifada in universities in support of Gaza and its people, and condemning the zionist aggression on Gaza Strip, are significant historical shifts that will increase the pressure on international institutions and countries around the world in favor of the Palestinian cause.

In the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), we welcome the adoption by the United Nations General Assembly of a resolution recommending the Security Council to positively reconsider the membership of Palestine, which enhances the rights and privileges of the State of Palestine at the United Nations.

We consider this resolution an acknowledgment of the necessity for our Palestinian people to obtain their legitimate rights and a confirmation of the international support for our people, in the face of the American will supporting the genocide being waged against them.

We call upon the free countries of the world to intensify their efforts and provide all means of support and backing for our Palestinian people, who long for freedom and their right to self-determination. We also urge the Security Council to fulfill its responsibilities and make a decision to recognize the State of Palestine as a full member of the United Nations, and to seriously work to stop the massacre committed by the fascist occupation government in the Gaza Strip, which violates all the laws and treaties upon which the United Nations Charter was founded.

International institutions are still incapable of stopping the genocide committed by the zionist gangs led by Netanyahu in the Gaza Strip, thus they need to free themselves from the shackles of zionist-American hegemony.

The Al-Qassam Brigades have been confronting the infiltrating zionist forces for the 217th consecutive day, leading to the deaths of 619 officers and soldiers and injuring more than 3,378 others, according to enemy army admissions. Additionally, over 7,065 injuries have been reported by zionist hospital sources combined with the occupation army data. The resistance has also destroyed hundreds of vehicles, either partially or completely. They continue to bombard enemy sites and settlements of the Gaza envelope, targeting their military gatherings across various fronts.

On Friday, May 10, 2024, the military media of the Al-Qassam Brigades released several [20] military statements about our fighters’ confrontations with the enemy forces across several combat axes, where the fighters continued their engagement in fierce clashes, using anti-tank and anti-personnel shells, and continue to target enemy military gatherings with rockets and mortar shells across different areas.

Missile sirens sounded in the occupied city of Bir Al-Sabi' and nearby "Hatzerim" and the Naqab Negev after the Al-Qassam Brigades fired two rocket barrages at the city, approximately 40 km from the Gaza Strip, in response to massacres against civilians, causing injuries and damage to a building in Bir Al-Sabi' as reported by zionist media.

In the same context, the military media displayed scenes of Al-Qassam fighters targeting enemy soldiers and vehicles on the axis of advance east of the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip. The footage showed several enemy vehicles and soldiers being hit by Al-Yassin 105 anti-tank shells and shells, resulting multiple deaths and injuries in the ranks of the enemy forces.

The Al-Qassam Brigades also released footage of a sniper operation targeting a zionist soldier south of Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City, where the video showed the soldier's military attire catching fire due to a precise direct hit, and other scenes of Bir Al-Sabi' being bombarded with a rocket barrage in retaliation for the massacres against civilians.

3- Targeting the “Yiftah” barracks with rocket weapons and Falaq launchers, in response to the "israeli" enemy's attacks on the resilient southern villages, secure homes, and targeting of civilians, the most recent in Tayr Harfa.
4- Targeting the “Kiryat Shmona” settlement with a barrage of Katyusha rockets, in response to the "israeli" enemy's attacks on the resilient southern villages, secure homes, and targeting of civilians, the most recent in Tayr Harfa.

- Western Sector:

1- At 00:50, targeting the "israeli" enemy forces and their equipment at the Malkiya site with artillery shells, achieving confirmed hits.
