🚨 A building was directly hit with an anti-tank missile in the settlement of "Shtula" in northwestern occupied Palestine.

In an unprecedented move, the American University of Beirut (AUB) has terminated Dr. Thalia Arawi's contract due to her outspoken support for the Palestinian cause and her condemnation of the Israeli war on Gaza.

A petition was launched in support of the professor by several professionals, faculty, and students who stated that the "lack of reasons provided for Professor Arawi's termination of the contract is deeply concerning."

On her Facebook page, the professor stated that she has "been bullied, harassed, and subjected to defamation and slander with ultimately my contract being terminated (starting this June with a 4 months’ notice only) on no grounds whatsoever."

She added that the "reasons given were my "image" and "demeanor". I was also accused of "incompetence".

The Martyr Izz El-Din Al-Qassam Brigades exalted the ascension of a group of its leaders and heroic fighters as martyrs on Saturday, May 4, 2024, following more than 15 continuous hours of armed clashes with the zionist occupation forces in the town of Deir Al-Ghusun in the city of Tulkarem in the north of the occupied West Bank.

In its military statement, the Brigades mourned the commander of the Al-Qassam Brigades in the Tulkarem Governorate, the martyred fighter Alaa Adeeb Shriteh, and the martyred fighters Tamer Abdul Rahman Fuqaha (one of the executors of the "Beit Lid" and "Nabi Elias" operations), Adnan Taysir Samara, and Asal Bashir Badran.
