Attached is a video previously released by Al-Qassam Brigades of the Rajoom short-range 114mm rocket system.
The system has recently seen a resurgence in use, after being used for the first time as cover fire for resistance fighters invading the Gaza envelope last October.
Last week, it was used for the first time since December 2023 in a pre-emptive abortive attack by the resistance on the IOF, targeting the "Holit" settlement near Rafah, 2km from the Gaza Strip. Al-Qassam Brigades targeted enemy gatherings there on May 1st with Rajoom and its military media released a video of the operation.
The operation targeted IOF gatherings mobilizing to invade Rafah, sending a message that they would be committing a grave mistake if they tried.
Today, the Rajoom system was used again to target an IOF military base at "Kerem Shalom," killing and wounding at least 10 IOF soldiers.
The system is comprised of a launcher that fires 15 144mm rockets, each weighing 18kg with 3 kg warheads. While it has high destructive capacity, it is limited in range and accuracy, able to hit targets 8.5 to 22 km away.

🚨 IOF warplanes carried out two airstrikes on Kfar Kila and the outskirts of Al-Azziyeh in southern Lebanon.
🚨 In another security incident, IOF helicopters were seen evacuating wounded soldiers from the eastern "Netzarim" axis, south of Gaza City in the #Gaza Strip.
🚨 A building was directly hit with an anti-tank missile in the settlement of "Shtula" in northwestern occupied Palestine.
In an unprecedented move, the American University of Beirut (AUB) has terminated Dr. Thalia Arawi's contract due to her outspoken support for the Palestinian cause and her condemnation of the Israeli war on Gaza.
A petition was launched in support of the professor by several professionals, faculty, and students who stated that the "lack of reasons provided for Professor Arawi's termination of the contract is deeply concerning."
On her Facebook page, the professor stated that she has "been bullied, harassed, and subjected to defamation and slander with ultimately my contract being terminated (starting this June with a 4 months’ notice only) on no grounds whatsoever."
She added that the "reasons given were my "image" and "demeanor". I was also accused of "incompetence".
She added, "Since all the above are unfounded, I tend to believe that the termination of my contract is due to my support of Palestine, Syria, etc., to my Arab nationalism."
