"They give us corruption... We give them revolution."

The same traitorous forces that chased Basil continue to chase our heroic fighters, leaders, and students today.
🔴 Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine:

🔻 "While some Arab zionists are gasping to normalize relations with this entity"

The Popular Front praises the Colombian President's declaration of severing diplomatic ties with the zionist entity
.

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine praised the announcement by Colombian President Gustavo Petro to sever diplomatic relations with the zionist entity.

The Front affirmed that this decision represents a significant victory for our grieving Palestinian people and for the values of justice and freedom that Colombia has become one of the most important defenders of in the era of President Petro. It is ironic that this decision is made at a time when Arab zionists from the official Arab regime are gasping to normalize relations with the zionist entity.

The Front emphasized that this important decision imposes further isolation on the outcast zionist entity, and tightens the noose around the zionist war criminals, whose horrific crimes against the Palestinian people have become exposed and the subject of global condemnation and rejection.

The Front concluded its statement by affirming that Palestine and its people will not forget this historic stance of Colombia, which truly and courageously embodies President Gustavo Petro's anti-imperialist and anti-zionist program, and his support for the just struggles and rights of the peoples, foremost among them the Palestinian people.

🚨 Government Media Office on the occasion of World Press Freedom Day (1/2):

Journalists in Gaza have excelled in conveying their media message in an astonishing manner, and they have provided hundreds of martyrs, wounded, and detainees, defeating the false narrative of the occupation.

Journalists around the world celebrate "World Press Freedom Day," which falls on May 3rd each year. This day was launched by UNESCO and ratified by the United Nations General Assembly as an annual international celebration of the freedom of journalistic work and in remembrance of the martyrs of freedom of opinion and expression.

However, this dear occasion passes differently this year, as the "israeli" occupation has killed 141 journalists and media personnel among us, wounded more than 70, and detained dozens in its prisons, including 20 journalists, as part of the genocide war waged by the "israeli" army against civilians, especially children and women in the Gaza Strip.

This occasion serves to remind the international community of the commitments made by its various countries to respect freedoms and allow space for opinion and expression, and to remind everyone of the rights of media personnel and journalists to freely express and disseminate information and facts about events without restriction or censorship, and without killing or targeting or arresting.

Today at the Government Media Office, as we extend congratulations and greetings to all Palestinian media colleagues on this global occasion, we express our full appreciation and pride in them, their sacrifices, their contributions, and their immaculate journey that has revealed the Palestinian cause and exposed the crimes and massacres of the occupation.

On World Press Freedom Day, we recall the forms of suffering experienced by the Palestinian journalist, and we remember those who have passed away as martyrs over the decades, these heroes who gave their lives so that truth might live, they are the candles in the darkness, and they are the martyrs of truthful words and responsible media. We also remember those who were arrested and subjected to oppression and torture, those whose cameras were broken, and those who were wounded and injured by the shells and rockets of the "israeli" occupation.

On this renewed occasion, the Government Media Office reaffirms that protecting journalistic work and freedom of opinion and expression requires respect for the laws that were set to protect the press and media, and it is unreasonable for the international community to stand powerless in protecting its laws and in protecting Palestinian journalists who are subjected to killing and genocide by the "israeli" army.

🚨 Government Media Office on the occasion of World Press Freedom Day (2/2):

In this context and on this occasion, we in the Government Media Office would like to emphasize the following:

Firstly: We send a salute of reverence and respect to Palestinian journalists and media personnel everywhere, we celebrate their various media efforts and extend congratulations to all colleagues in the profession, and we mourn the souls of the martyrs of the media movement who paid with their blood for the freedom of the nation and the profession.

Secondly: We strongly condemn the crimes and massacres perpetrated by the army of the occupation against journalists throughout the Palestinian territories, particularly in Gaza Strip, and call on everyone to expose its practices and crimes against our people and our sanctities, and against our heroic prisoners in its unjust prisons.

Thirdly: We hold the "israeli" occupation fully responsible for its crimes against journalists and media professionals, killing them and subjecting them to genocide, as well as holding the American administration responsible as it is engaged in the genocide, participating with weapons and military equipment, and supporting the occupation unlimitedly in all directions.

Fourthly: We call on all relevant frameworks and institutions involved in media work to commemorate the occasion in all forms and make it a station of solidarity and cooperation to develop and enhance the ethics of the profession, and to expose the crimes of the occupation and its practices against Palestinian journalists and media professionals throughout Palestine.

Fifthly: We demand the international community to protect Palestinian journalists and pressure the "israeli" occupation to stop the genocide against them and against civilians, children, and women, and our Palestinian people in general.

Sixthly: We believe that it is time for there to be a real outcome to the legal movement concerning the crimes committed by the occupation against journalists before the International Criminal Court. If now is not the time to see the "israeli" war criminals in the docks, then when can it be achieved?

🚨 The Dutch frigate ZR MS Tromp has withdrawn from the Red Sea, adding to the growing list of European ships that have withdrawn following the failed American alliance to attempt to confront the Yemeni Armed Forces operations in support of Gaza.

The commander of the ship stated that the "Yemenis are violent and unpredictable," and that the Yemeni threat "extends from the Red Sea to the Gulf of Aden and connects to the Indian Ocean."

The ship was in the Red Sea for a month, as part of the European "Aspides" mission. Britain, Germany, Denmark, and France have all withdrawn military ships from the Red Sea in the last month.

⚫️ Palestinian Islamic Jihad spokesman Mohammed Al-Hajj Musa:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

What was stated by the spokesperson for the [Palestinian Authority] Security Forces in the Ramallah Authority, regarding the sinful and cowardly assassination operation against the martyr fighter Ahmad Abu Al-Ful, carried out by members of the Authority’s Security, is a false and invalid claim and an attempt to shirk responsibility. The martyr was not armed, and there was no exchange of fire.

We affirm that this crime contradicts all national concepts, and its goal is to tear apart the unity of our people who are subjected to a genocide war, serving a suspicious zionist agenda.

This sinful crime calls for a national stance from all the forces of our people to put an end to these [Security] Forces and curb their excesses.

🚨 Informed Palestinian sources to Al-Mayadeen:

There is a clear development in the latest document concerning the "israeli" side's retreat from its conditions on the return of the displaced and the withdrawal.

The most crucial issue for Hamas, which has not been resolved in the document, is the matter of ceasefire and an explicit situation for it.

The document has formed a new basis for negotiations that could soon lead to a comprehensive agreement.

Ismail Haniyeh Contacts the Egyptian Minister of Intelligence Regarding Negotiations to Stop the Aggression

Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas, contacted Mr. Abbas Kamel, the Egyptian Director of Intelligence, regarding negotiations to halt the aggression against our people.

The head of the movement appreciated Egypt's role and confirmed the positive spirit of the movement in considering the ceasefire proposal.

The head of the movement assured Director Abbas Kamel that a delegation from the movement would arrive in Egypt as soon as possible to continue the ongoing discussions aimed at maturing an agreement that meets the demands of our people and stops the aggression.
🚨 In solidarity with Gaza, Palestine Action activists succeeded this morning at preventing access into the Bristol HQ of Elbit, the zionist's entity's largest weapons firm.

The site has been shut down for the day.

Chanting "Free Palestine," activists on top of a van blocked the only entrance into Elbit’s Bristol HQ, effectively succeeding to #ShutElbitDown.
🚨 Amidst the presence of snipers, police violently attacked the UCLA Gaza Solidarity encampment once again, firing tear gas and flash bangs in rapid succession towards students. Protestors repelled the aggression, pushing away the police and displaying a number of creative tactics.

A number of students wore tear gas to protect from tear gas and pepper spray, while others created fortified shields to defend the encampment.

Zionist mobs played the recordings of children crying through speakers, mirroring the same twisted practice used by the IOF in Nusseirat camp in the #Gaza Strip. Again, the police did little to curb the attack by the zionists, who reportedly allied with neo-Nazis in their attack on the camp.

After the police retreated, they returned again to attack the camp. Clashes are ongoing, and dozens have been arrested. UCLA students have demonstrated incredible resolve and bravery in resisting the invasion with the tools at their disposal, such as umbrellas and forming human walls, chanting "We're not leaving! You don't scare us!" towards the police.
