🟢 Hamas spokesman Abd al-Latif Al-Qanou':

The demands of the resistance are not insurmountable conditions but legitimate demands understood by mediators and supported by our people and agreed upon nationally and factionally.

Without fulfilling the just demands of our people for a permanent ceasefire, withdrawal of forces, and the return of displaced persons, no agreement with the occupation will succeed.

Guaranteeing a permanent ceasefire is a fundamental pillar for moving towards the details of the negotiation and the success of the agreement with the occupation.

The occupation has not succeeded in passing its displacement project, nor in its policy of starvation or control over Gaza through the so-called "village leagues" or families and the use of the weapon of chaos and lawlessness.

What the occupation has failed to achieve over seven months of destruction, devastation, and genocide cannot be achieved in the lost time of the war.
Bassem Khandaqji, a Palestinian prisoner who has been held for 20 years, has won the 2024 international Booker Prize for Arabic Fiction for his book "A Mask the Color of the Sky."

The novel was selected from among 133 novels. This recognition is a victory for the Palestinian voice and the prisoners, who continue to write and exchange information from the revolutionary schools inside zionist prisons amidst escalated torture and repression.

Heroic prisoners such as Mahmoud Al-Aridah, Thaer Hammad, Hassan Salameh, and Abdullah Barghouti have all published books from within the prison walls: novels, reflections, historical accounts, and allegories for the struggle. Freed prisoner and leader Yahya Sinwar envisioned the future of liberation in his book "The Thorn and Carnation," while martyred leader Walid Daqqah wrote accounts of the Battle of Jenin or the psychological war on prisoners. A popular book among prisoners is Struggle From the Darkness, which sheds light on zionist psychological tactics during arrest, interrogation, and imprisonment and how to stand steadfast against them.

The literary productions of the prisoners have been among the most prominent tools of struggle armed by the prisoners, despite all efforts by the occupation to erase the Palestinian narrative and voice.

Khandaqji (40 years old), from Nablus, was arrested in November 2004. In his last 20 years in prison, he has published two poetry collections, 250 articles, and several novels, a number of which have been translated to French.

He was subjected to a harsh interrogation, followed by a sentence of three life terms when he was 20 years old while he was a journalism and media student at Al-Najah University.

When his novel was nominated for the Booker Prize, Bassem was subjected to a failed smear campaign by zionist media. Yet, Bassem left his mark, contributing to the mountain of Palestinian literature despite his imprisonment and overcoming the challenges of publication from prison.

As part of the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood:
Our fighters in the Jenin Brigade - Jaba' Groups directly attacked a military patrol of the occupation forces at the entrance of the town of Jaba' "Al-Fawara" at exactly 3:35 PM, and the hits were precise by the grace of Allah.

Our jihad continues and our weapons are drawn in all arenas.

🚨 Head of Government Media Office, Salameh Maarouf:

We warn against the recurrence of incidents where explosives left by the occupation army in citizens' homes explode, especially those disguised as canned goods. Many citizens were injured by such booby-trapped cans, the latest being in the Al-Zana area of Khan Younis, where 14-year-old Mohammed Yasser Samour was seriously injured. He was searching for his personal belongings in his bombed house, found food cans left by the occupation, and opened them, causing an explosion that led to the amputation of some of his limbs and injured others with him.

We condemn the occupation's crime of deliberately booby-trapping the remnants it leaves behind, as if it were not enough to kill our people with direct bombing, thereby using the deception of booby-trapped cans to increase the number of martyrs and wounded, especially among children who cannot distinguish these remnants.

According to UN estimates, which are confirmed by reports from the competent government agencies: about 10% of the shells and bombs dropped by the occupation army, estimated at more than 75,000 tons of explosives, did not explode. This means about 7,500 tons of shells and bombs in the streets, on citizens' lands, in their homes, among the debris, and under the rubble in various areas of the Gaza Strip. This represents a severe danger that will not end even with the cessation of aggression, unless they are removed and the risk of their explosion is neutralized.

Therefore, we urge our citizens not to tamper with such remnants and to pay close attention to what the occupation army leaves behind, including canned food, and to communicate with civil defense teams and specialized explosive engineering authorities to deal with these remnants.

We demand that the international community introduce specialized engineering teams and explosives experts and provide the local competent authorities with the necessary technical capabilities to deal with these remnants and remove their danger from the citizens.
🟡 Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades:

In cooperation with Martyr Omar Al-Qasim Forces and the Abdulqader Al-Husseini Brigades, we bombed the “Zikim” military base with a 107-type missile barrage this afternoon, in response to the occupation’s crimes against our people.

Messages "to the scum of nations and the pigs of the earth" from a tent at the Gaza Solidarity Encampment at Columbia University in New York:

"We will see who besieges who."
"Paradise lies in the shadow of swords."
"Glory to he who makes the occupier taste bitterness."
After 7 months of war, and after the occupation completely or partially destroyed 412 schools and universities across the Gaza Strip, youth initiatives have established schools in the camps of displacement for elementary students in an effort to continue their education and enrichment amidst the genocide.

The classrooms are a beacon of hope and steadfastness, allowing young students to pursue their students in the face of adversity.
