Occupy against occupation:
Breaking down the walls between campus and community, protestors in Germany organized a two-week-long encampment outside the German Parliament and Federal Chancellary before it was violently and brutally attacked by police.

We commend the bravery of our German comrades in standing for Palestine amidst among the worst anti-Palestinian repression in the world, exemplifying that encampments and occupation need not be limited to ivory towers.

Recently, Germany banned all languages except English and German at public events in an effort to limit Arabic-language speeches and demonstrations in the Arab capital of Europe. Pro-Palestinian events have been raided, with even the mildest pro-Palestinian voices being attacked, and Palestinian protests for Prisoners' Day and Nakba Day are banned yearly.

Alongside the US, Germany is the largest supplier of weapons to the zionist entity: 69% comes from the US, 30% comes from Germany, and the remaining 1% from other countries.

The encampment was violently dismantled by German forces this Friday, and protests erupted outside German embassies in European cities in protest of this decision. Despite this, the voice of the people cannot be subdued, and it will continue to grow louder under liberation.
