The report by the committee on UNRWA employees is biased and aligns with the zionist narrative.
The Department of Refugee Affairs and the Right of Return in the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine confirms that the findings of the independent committee led by the former French Foreign Minister, Catherine Colonna, claiming "the agency has issues related to neutrality," are biased and align with the zionist narrative, supporting efforts to terminate UNRWA's operations and replace it with other international entities.
The department considers that UNRWA employees are an authentic part of the Palestinian community, influenced by and impacting the current political conditions, and they have the right to express their national and political opinions. Before being employees, they are primarily Palestinians, and no international law or regulation strips them of this right.
The department indicated that UNRWA's management has facilitated the zionist occupation and its allies within the Western international system to incite against UNRWA employees, fabricate and disseminate false narratives, and incite against the Palestinian curriculum by exploiting the so-called "neutrality," which was wielded as a sword over the employees' necks, creating an opportunity to stop funding for the international organization and push plans to replace it with other international bodies.
The department stresses that the so-called neutrality law is detached from the Palestinian reality and cannot be applied to a community suffering from ongoing occupation and aggression, which necessitates resistance in all means and forms. The actions of our people in resisting this occupation and defending their existence and identity cannot be considered "hostile acts"; they are legitimate.
The department warns against any suspicious efforts aimed at altering the Palestinian curriculum or attempts to replace UNRWA with other international institutions as part of a gradual strategy to end the right of return for refugees to their homes from which they were displaced, asserting that there is no alternative to UNRWA until the return of the refugees, and all attempts to create alternatives will be resisted.

🟡🟢 Deputy Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sheikh Naim Qassem, during a ceremony honoring workers at the Islamic Religious Education Association in Beirut:
—
The initiatives they are talking about are not viable if their basis is not a ceasefire in Gaza.
Let Gallant [zionist Minister of Defense] know that through war it is not possible to return the people of the North. Rather, this war will push their return further and further away, and may end their return once and for all.
The continuation of the aggression does not bring back the settlers of the north, and the expansion of the aggression against Lebanon makes life more and more difficult for them.
There is a decision by Hezbollah to respond to the “israeli” aggression proportionately, such that any “israeli” expansion of the aggression is met with an expansion of response, resistance, and confrontation by Hezbollah and the resistance in Lebanon, and this is a decisive decision.
