Exploring the Political and Military Developments of the Struggle:
Ismail Haniyeh and the Hamas leadership meet Jamil Mezher and the leadership of the Popular Front in Istanbul

Brother fighter Ismail Haniyeh, Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas, and a delegation from the movement's leadership met yesterday in Istanbul with the Deputy Secretary-General of the Popular Front, comrade Jamil Mezher, and a delegation from the Front's leadership, where they discussed the overall political and military developments, both in the war on the Strip and the Palestinian cause overall.

Both delegations praised the steadfastness, patience, and contributions of our people despite the crimes and brutality of the occupation.

The delegations also exchanged condolences for the martyrs of the Palestinian people, particularly the condolences to the Head of the movement for the martyrdom of three of his sons and five of his grandchildren on the first day of Eid, as well as condolences to the leadership of the Front for the martyrdom of the prisoner Walid Daqqah.

The delegations discussed the ongoing efforts to stop the aggression and ways to support the steadfastness of our people and provide their humanitarian needs.

They also addressed the situations in Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa and the actions of the occupation forces and the crimes of the settlers.

They emphasized the necessity of continuing joint efforts to thwart the occupation's plans and achieve the goals and aspirations of our people for freedom, independence, and the establishment of an independent state with Al-Quds as its capital.

The delegations discussed ways to unify the Palestinian people and leverage this legendary steadfastness to positively reflect on leadership frameworks, political programs, and joint national action.

They also discussed the conditions of the prisoners in the occupation's prisons, reaffirming the demand of our people for a dignified and serious exchange deal.

The delegations praised the role of the masses who come out to support and express solidarity with our people and the importance of this regional and international movement.
⚪️ Mujahideen Movement:

We strongly condemn the repression by American security forces against students and supporters of the Palestinian people in American universities who reject the genocidal crimes committed by the zionist government of terrorism against Gaza.

This arbitrary repression by American security against students and all those standing with Palestinian rights exposes the extent of the falseness of claims to democracy and human rights protection, revealing the ugly face of the American administration that has mortgaged its will to the desires of global zionism.

We praise the uprising of students in American universities against zionist-American injustice and renew our call for our people's students and our Arab and Islamic nation to break the barriers of silence and incapacity to rise up in support of Gaza, which is fighting the criminal zionist enemy on behalf of our people and our nation, and in defense of the land, human beings, and sanctities.

We call for the student uprising in American universities to be a real opportunity for a global popular uprising to stop the Nazi zionist enemy's massacres against our noble people in Gaza and a true chance for the world's liberation from the demonic restrictions imposed by zionism through its tools.

🟢 Hamas:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, Most Merciful,

We in the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), have closely followed the statement issued by the White House, signed by 18 countries, which essentially called for the release of prisoners in the Gaza Strip. We express our regret that the statement did not address fundamental issues affecting our people who are suffering under the burden of a comprehensive genocide war, nor did it emphasize the need for a permanent ceasefire and the withdrawal of the occupation army from the Gaza Strip, in addition to ambiguity surrounding other clauses.

We affirm again that the movement is open to any ideas or proposals that take into consideration the just needs and rights of our people, represented by a final cessation to the aggression against them, the withdrawal of occupation forces from the Gaza Strip, and the unrestricted and unconditional return of the displaced to their homes in the governorates of Gaza and North Gaza and all areas of the Strip. This includes reconstruction, lifting the siege, supplying our people with all their relief and humanitarian needs, and proceeding to achieve a serious agreement for the exchange of prisoners, on the path to granting our Palestinian people their full legitimate national rights, self-determination, and establishing their independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds as its capital.

We call on the American administration, the countries that signed the statement, and the international community, to remove the cover from the genocide crime committed by the zionist enemy against the unarmed children and civilians in the Gaza Strip, and to pressure for its end as an urgent priority. Furthermore, we call for opposition to the terrorist policies of Netanyahu, who seeks to plunge the region into an abyss to fulfill personal political calculations and to satisfy the desires of his allies from the extremist right, who stand against any attempt to reach a just agreement that would end the aggression and return the prisoners and detainees.

🚨 Despite intense repression, the number of university encampments in solidarity with Gaza continues to grow, demanding divestment from zionism and an end to the genocide in Palestine, in addition to a growing number of solidarity protests.

Hundreds— including faculty and professors protecting students—have been arrested or beaten by American zionist police forces, whose tactics are inherited from the IOF.

The encampments are employing a diversity of strategies, but their demands and goals are united: full divestment, an end to genocide, and material disruption. Physical space is being reclaimed, with Cal Poly Humboldt students renaming "Siemens Hall" to "Intifada Hall" and Emerson students in Boston renaming the street of their encampment "Walid Daqqah Alley."

We encourage subscribers to read the linked communiques from the heart of the encampments at Emory University and Columbia University to understand the demands and strategies of the students. You may also read, print, and distribute guides and toolkits from RNN.
