In its ongoing crimes against service institutions, to prevent them from performing their duty or providing humanitarian civil services to the citizens; the army of the occupation proceeded to bomb the headquarters of Wadi Al-Salqa Municipality, leading to its complete destruction.

This new crime against the municipalities adds to a long series of crimes committed by the forces of the "israeli" occupation since October 7, whether by bombing and destroying the headquarters as occurred with the municipalities of Gaza, Jabalia, Beit Lahia, and Beit Hanoun, or by destroying equipment and vehicles or by deliberately sabotaging the infrastructure of water lines, sewage, water wells, desalination, and treatment stations.

The occupation and its army disregarded the protection stipulated in international humanitarian law and the Geneva Conventions for these institutions as civil service properties, flouting all international conventions, deliberately targeting the staff of these service institutions, destroying their headquarters and equipment, and preventing the introduction of their work essentials from fuel and vehicles to spare parts.

We call on the international community to put an end to the crimes of the occupation against the civil service sectors and urge it to urgently mobilize to support the municipalities and provide the necessary equipment and vehicles for their work, especially under the heavy burden currently placed on them in serving the citizens and delivering basic services to them, foremost among them water.

We call for serious international legal action to investigate all crimes committed by the occupation army against the municipalities, local councils, and other service institutions, and to take a responsible stance against the continuation of such crimes.

A settler told zionist media regarding the "Arab Al-Amarsheh" operation:

"I was close to the scene when Hezbollah launched the first anti-tank missile. I knew it had hit the soldiers so I ran to help the wounded. Upon reaching the scene, I heard a whistling sound and then I flew away."

At least 18 soldiers were wounded in the operation.

In response to the martyrdom of Mohammad Reza Zahedi and a group of martyrs from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard at the Iranian Consulate in Damascus, and in support of our people in Gaza and Palestine, and in victory for the His Promise is Truthful operation which was successfully carried out by units of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard inside occupied Palestine, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic in Beirut welcomed the congratulators from the Palestinian resistance factions today, Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Beirut.

A delegation from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, led by the Deputy Secretary General of the Front, Comrade Jamil Mezher, and the member of the Political Bureau of the Front, Marwan Abdel Al, along with several leaders of the Front in Lebanon, participated in the meeting. During the meeting, Comrade Jamil Mezher praised the Iranian Revolutionary Guard for targeting zionist military sites with dozens of rockets and drones in response to the aggression of the entity on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, describing the Iranian response as a pivotal event that will establish new rules of engagement in the region.

Comrade Mezher emphasized that the legitimate Iranian response has shattered the prestige of the zionist entity and exposed its fragility and inability to defend itself, and that the unprecedented Iranian strikes, the first in its history against the zionist entity, represent an important turning point in the battle of the Al-Aqsa Flood and in the interest of the Palestinian resistance factions.

At the end of his speech, he saluted the Axis of Resistance extending from Hezbollah and Iran to Yemen, Iraq, Syria, and all the free people of the world who stand alongside the Palestinian people.
