A preliminary record of the long night, before going to sleep:

For the first time, "israel" was struck from inside Iranian territory, although this attack was a response to the destruction of the Iranian consulate in Damascus. Since the attack was a response to "israeli" aggression, Iran had both internal and external legitimacy to undertake this unprecedented action.

"israel" was preparing for the Iranian strike, along with the collective West with their planes and air defenses in the [battle] field. Nevertheless, Iran saturated "israeli" airspace with drones and missiles, from "Kiryat Shmona" in the north to Umm al-Rashrash ("Eilat") in the south. Over several days, the zionists and the West had been raising expectations about the Iranian response to make it appear weak after its execution, yet the sirens went off 720 times in occupied Palestine, adding another reason for the declining confidence of the "israeli" society in its security in Palestine.

This inundation aimed to demonstrate capability, and on the other hand, allowed the Iranian missiles to reach two predefined targets (two military bases, one of which was the airbase used by the occupation army to attack the Iranian consulate in Damascus).

Despite the Western, "israeli," and Jordanian mobilization, and the initiative of these and other countries to confront the Iranian attack in defense of "israel", Iranian missiles at least hit two bases of the "israeli" occupation army. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced that its missiles hit at least one "israeli" airbase before the occupation army acknowledged it. These hits were achieved even though Iran was not just facing the occupation entity but the entire collective West and its affiliated regimes. All the intelligence devices, monitoring systems, and defense systems that the West had built over decades were deployed in the field that night to defend "israel".

Iran did not use the best of its drones, and perhaps this round was limited to the slowest of the Iranian drones. As if Iran is saying, "This is what I can do with less than 200 drones of this type, and I am ready to use more advanced ones if there is an attack on Iranian territory, so do not overstep."

"Israeli" deterrence is at its worst, and no "israeli" military response inside Iranian borders will repair it. Any harsh "israeli" response inside Iran will provoke a harsher Iranian response than what was seen in occupied Palestine today, both in quantity and quality. Something has broken and can only be mended by a complete defeat of the enemies of "israel", which is not within reach of the axis of genocide.

After October 7th, "israel" stated that it was headed towards changing the "Middle East". The aggression against the Iranian consulate in Damascus was in this context, a qualitative leap that exceeded all red lines. However, the Iranian response to the occupied interior thwarted the "israeli" objective. "Israel" was forced to back down from what it tried to impose by bombing the consulate.

Last night's events, like Al-Aqsa Flood, revealed the fragility of the "israeli" reality and the vital need of the entity for Western protection, even to counter less than 400 drones and missiles, despite the "israeli" and American boasting about the air defense layers in the occupation entity. In a limited confrontation like last night's, "israel" needed the armies of the West and the Arabs of normalization to defend itself, even though all "israeli" Air Force planes were in the air to counter the Iranian missiles and protect it from damage that might occur to air bases in the occupation entity.

After the Iranian response, Benjamin Netanyahu swallowed his pride. The man built his entire political career on the basis of confronting the Iranian threat. And when Iran came to deliver a historic blow to the entity (described as "historic" by "israel" itself), he should have responded harshly to Iran, within its borders, without hesitation. But he found himself facing the dilemma that the United States and "israel" fully realize that any targeting of Iranian territory will be met with a harsher response than what we saw last night. Therefore, it is difficult to predict the American decision that will be issued in the coming hours about allowing "israel" to attack Iranian territory or not, knowing that recent leaks suggest that Biden does not favor an "israeli" response, fearing Iranian responses and a round of mutual responses that could ignite the entire region. (The response to the consulate made Iran respond in this way, so what would the response be to any attack on Iranian internal territory?)

One last point: The Iranian response will contribute to strengthening the position of the Palestinian resistance in Gaza in the negotiations it is conducting to achieve a ceasefire, as the Iranian attack exacerbates the regional tension that Washington has been trying to control since last October 7th.
