The Turkish Foreign Ministry, 6 months into the genocide in Gaza, has taken the decision to halt all exports to the zionist entity until a ceasefire is enacted in Gaza and increased aid is allowed in.
The restrictions will begin today, affecting 54 products, including construction materials and equipment. This move comes in response to the zionist entity's prevention of Turkish aid from reaching Gaza via air drops.
While the move is a welcome one, it should be noted that trade between the zionist entity and Turkiye skyrocketed after October 7th, to the tune of over $5 billion.
The entity sources the majority of its steel and cement from Turkiye, and over 500 Turkish ships arrived in the entity since October 7th. Dozens in Turkiye have been arrested for protesting this egregious normalization, while leadership displays superficial sympathy with the Palestinian plight.

Today, we honor Ghassan Kanafani, a revolutionary whose name is eternally carved in struggle for the liberation of Palestine.
Ghassan was not only a writer or thinker. A leader of PFLP along with George Habash, he was a military strategist, an embodiment of what martyr Basil Al-Araj called “the clashing intellectual,” despite having never fired a weapon.
It is indisputable that Ghassan's name embodies all the qualities of a real resistance fighter in his life and in his death: a writer, thinker, artist, politician, father, husband, son, revolutionary, intellectual, and fighter all at once. He understood the power of words and used them to ignite a revolution in the hearts of the people that still burns to this day and fuels acts of resistance.
It is one thing to write. It is a completely different thing to make writing a weapon. Your pen the barrel of a rifle, your words the bullets fired into the chest of the enemy. Ghassan understood that.
His left a mark on so many that it is difficult to believe it was only coincidence—from being the first to notice Naji Al-Ali’s drawings at an exhibition in Beirut and publishing his drawings, to working alongside George Habash, to influencing Mahmoud Darwish’s writings. One of his most famous quotes was: "Beware of a natural death and do not die except under a hail of bullets," inspire many resistance fighters who transform his ideology into actions. These same words are written on the grave of the Lion of Nablus, Ibrahim Al-Nabulsi.
The truth is Ghassan was a fighter who fought with his words, embodying “a cultural form of resistance is never less valuable than armed resistance itself.” This ethos was central to how he operated. His words—inspiring so many to carry the rifle and to write their own martyrdom while defiantly facing the enemy—were exactly why that same enemy needed to silence him.
With everything he offered to the cause, Ghassan could only ascend as a martyr. And so he rose, on a sunny summer day in Beirut in a Mossad assassination that targeted him and his 17-year-old niece Lamees. His body was scattered on the ground. His left hand was found on a tree.
Curiously, his watch didn’t stop ticking. "Bodies fall, but not the idea." Revolutionary thoughts do not abide by the rules of time.

"In this position, we attribute all merit to Allah, the Exalted firstly, that He may grant us success under the blessed breezes of the night of the 27th [of Ramadan]. We also send a message of thanks for the foreheads that bow in prostration, which have prayed and still pray for victory and empowerment for the fighters.
Furthermore, we call upon the masses of our precious nation to join the fight against the killers of women and children.
Almighty Allah said, "And what is [the matter] with you that you fight not in the cause of Allah and [for] the oppressed among men, women, and children who say, 'Our Lord, take us out of this city of oppressive people and appoint for us from Yourself a protector and appoint for us from Yourself a helper'?"
And Almighty Allah said, "Fight them; Allah will punish them by your hands, disgrace them, grant you victory over them, and heal the hearts of a believing people."
This is a small sample of what the defeated army is suffering in the quagmire of Gaza, which security conditions have allowed to be displayed.
Yet still, the army whose head is lowered [in shame] in front of the fighters on the 7th of October, the bully of women, children, and stones, keeps silent about his losses and imposes his censorship on his audience, and settles for informing the families of the killed in the most tight circles, complying with Netanyahu's singular decision. And still, the aforementioned obedient fool deludes himself with crushing victory, sacrificing his soldiers and his hostages day after day in order to preserve his position and the welfare of his son Yair [Netanyahu] and the gifts of the old hag.
And we, here from Khan Younis and from Al-Zana, on the land which you claim to have flattened and believed in [your lie]. By Allah, we will not leave this matter until you are driven out of our lands or we taste what Sa'd ibn Mu'adh tasted, may Allah be pleased with him.
Those who oppose us do not harm nor do those who have let us down, as long as Allah is with us and His victory is near.
And indeed it is a jihad of victory or martyrdom.
Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings."
