Despite not having any binding means to enforce this decision, the Popular Front welcomes the Human Rights Council's adoption of a decision to ban arms exports to the occupation and considers it an important symbolic victory.

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine welcomed the United Nations Human Rights Council's adoption of a decision to ban arms exports to "israel" by a majority of 28 votes to 6, stating that this decision constitutes an important symbolic victory, contributing to the further isolation of the occupation internationally. However, unfortunately, the Council does not have any binding means to enforce this decision.

The Front concluded its statement by calling for the continued international popular movements in cities and capitals around the world, and all international parties involved in international institutions, to continue to pressure for a binding resolution under Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter.
