The Martyr Izz El-Din al-Qassam Brigades mourns to the Islamic and Arab nation the great martyr commander, Mohammed Reza Zahedi (Abu Mahdi) and his brothers who passed as martyrs on the road to Al-Quds yesterday, Monday, Ramadan 22, 1445 AH, corresponding to 01/04/2024 AD in a treacherous zionist bombing of the Syrian capital of Damascus.

We in the Al-Qassam Brigades, while we condemn this cowardly assassination, we commend the great role of the martyr Abu Mahdi in building the resistance front against the zionist occupation over many years and his prominent role in the battle of Al-Aqsa Flood.

The occupation's plans to dismantle UNRWA have reached an advanced level.

The Department of Refugee Affairs and the Right of Return in the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine warns that the occupation's plans to dismantle the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) are in full swing and have reached an advanced level in light of the targeted and systematic zionist campaign to demonize UNRWA, incite against its work and employees, and attempt to marginalize it.

The department notes that reports of the zionist entity proposing the dismantlement of UNRWA in exchange for providing widespread aid in Gaza confirms the existence of a premeditated zionist intention to find an alternative to UNRWA, using the starvation of the Palestinian people as leverage to lead to the marginalization and then dismantling of UNRWA as a witness to the Nakba and the injustice of our people, on the way to abolishing the right of return for Palestinian refugees to their homes from which they were expelled under UN Resolution 194.

The department emphasizes that the American administration's alignment with the occupation's lies and campaigns against UNRWA, which was reinforced by stopping funding for the international institution until 2025, gives the occupation a green light to continue its plans to dismantle UNRWA despite the exposure of zionist lies and the resumption of funding by some countries after cutting it.

The department explained that UN institutions treat this dangerous zionist scheme with significant disregard, with no real actions taken beyond verbal statements, whether inside the UN or in other international forums, to counter the systematic zionist campaign against UNRWA, despite being capable of refuting the occupation's lies and systematic incitement against it, considering it the only entity capable of managing the relief operation for the Strip due to its extensive expertise and immense human and logistical capabilities.

The department affirms that our Palestinian people and their national and community forces will strongly confront this suspicious scheme, and will thwart any attempts to find an alternative to UNRWA, or attempts to extort the Palestinian people with aid, as our people's cause is political and not humanitarian. This requires the continued operation of UNRWA in serving and relieving refugees until their return to their lands from which they were displaced, considering it a steadfast right that our people and the masses of refugees will defend with all their might, especially since the success of the occupation in its plan to dismantle UNRWA in Gaza means the implementation of this plan in the West Bank, Al-Quds, and refugee camps abroad.

Al-Qassam Brigades target a D9 military bulldozer with an Al-Yassin 105 shell east of Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

🚨 Resistant youth successfully shot down an occupation drone in the town of Budrus, west of #Ramallah.

Jordanian authorities, the defenders of the zionist embassy in Amman, presented a list of new restrictions and bans as protests show no signs of slowing down after the 9th consecutive day.

The list of restrictions includes:
- Banning kuffiyehs or shemagh scarves
- Banning entry of any flags
- Banning entry of many banners/posters
- Cutting off protests after midnight (noting that protests have extended up to sunrise in the last week)
- Banning the entry of children (which has the effect of preventing parents from attending).

This slew of restrictions comes after Jordan banned Palestinian flags at the protests, prompting protestors to load the flags on their phones. The restrictions also fall under the shadow of countless arrests of pro-Palestinian protestors and the continued detention of dozens. Yet, the will of the people has not deviated, and protests are expected to continue.
