In light of what was revealed this morning after the terrorist occupation army's withdrawal from Al-Shifa Medical Complex and its surroundings, and the massive destruction inflicted on the site by this savage army's killing and terrorism machine, unbridled from any punishment, going from demolishing buildings, burning and bulldozing departments, to leveling the surrounding neighborhoods over their residents' heads, and the horrifying execution operations that were discovered, as well as the bodies of martyrs with handcuffed hands buried alive, those whose bodies decomposed and rotted, or those crushed under the tanks' tracks, and other atrocities.
We, in the Hamas movement, affirm the following:
Firstly: This horrific crime underscores the nature of this rogue fascist entity, deviant from the values of civilization and humanity, whose crimes and violations exceed all bounds, continuing its clear mission: to execute the most heinous genocidal wars against civilians and civil infrastructure in the Gaza Strip, with the world remaining silent, fully and unlimitedly supported by the administration of the President Joe Biden.
Secondly: We hold the American administration and President Biden personally responsible for the crimes, massacres, and systematic destruction of civilian life in the Gaza Strip, especially the health sector and hospitals, which are carried out with American weapons and all forms of military and political support and backing.
Thirdly: The extent of destruction and killing mastered by the enemy does not signify any victory over the will of our people, clinging to their land and identity, and this barbaric onslaught on the Gaza Strip reaffirms the enemy's intention to drive our people away from their land as part of its plans to liquidate the Palestinian cause.
Fourthly: We demand the international community and the United Nations to condemn this atrocious crime committed by the criminal zionist enemy against Al-Shifa Complex, its surroundings, and the citizens therein, and to immediately move to enter Gaza City and witness the scale of the crime it has been subjected to.
Fifthly: We call on international judicial bodies, especially the International Criminal Court, to start actual procedures to investigate the crimes and atrocities that occurred in Al-Shifa Medical Complex and its surroundings, and in all the crimes happening for six months, to dust off dozens of reports and investigation requests into zionist crimes against our defenseless people, and to carry out its mandated mission to hold the leaders of this entity accountable and bring them to justice.

Dr. Amira Al-Safadi explains what patients and the medical staff were subjected to after the occupation stormed Al-Shifa Complex. Throughout the siege, the occupation made them evacuate the patients from building to building four times:
"We have been besieged on the night of 18th March. They shouted on microphones that Al-Shifa Hospital is besieged from all directions and no one is allowed to leave. The next day, they made us evacuate all the patients to the reception room. There were more than 100 patients but many were martyred. About 16 of those who were in the ICU were martyred and we couldn't do anything to save them."

The second patient recounted, "I was at the Reception section...The Jews came and after five days they made us evacuate to the Kidney Dialysis section. Five days later they made us evacuate again. There was no treatment, no change, but praise be to Allah, we made it out alive."
When asked, the third patient responded, "What happened? As you can see, we were suffocated and killed, but praise be to Allah."
