The IOF opens fire on young Palestinians who targeted a military watchtower with Molotovs in Al-Aroub camp in #AlKhalil.
The Rapid Response:
Today, we remember the master of the rapid response, of revenge and liberation. Today, we remember, on the 22nd anniversary of his martyrdom by assassination, he who oversaw the deaths of 240 settlers, the icon of Palestine: founder of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, Raed Karmi, Abu Falasteen, the Falcon of the Brigades, the most wanted man in Palestine, and the Master of the Quick Response.

Raed always had a deep love for Palestine and resistance. Miraculously, Raed persevered after suffering arrests and near-death experiences as a youth. When he turned 18, his stones transformed into bullets and he began engaging in armed resistance activity as his revolutionary thought evolved. His modus operandi was always revenge and liberation, and the entity feared him. In his time, he personally killed 12 soldiers and settlers. Known as the master of the quick response, many of these were revenge operations carried out within 24 hours of the burial of a martyr.

What he promised, he fulfilled. He pledged revenge after his friend Feras Al-Jaber was assassinated. He soon killed two IOF soldiers. He killed two soldiers soon after his friend and resistance leader Thabet Thabet was assassinated. His sister says that one time, the Al-Karmi family was watching TV when they saw a 6-year-old girl crying, heartbroken about losing her father and the oppression of the colonial zionists. Raed started crying, too, and in that moment, he pledged to avenge her father. That same night, Raed went out and killed one settler and injured another.

In the year before his glorious ascendance, the zionist entity attempted three times to assassinate him. The enemy thought he had multiple lives. In June of 2001, two rockets were fired at a car that he was in; Raed survived but the other two in the car, Mustafa Anbas and Omar Soboh, were martyred. On another occasion, he survived an explosive bullet.

Both the PA and zionists sought to arrest him, as they could not contain the flame of resistance that he had created. The PA planned to arrest him in 2001 following an agreement with Americans, but this dissatisfied the zionists, who decided to plan to kill him that December.

Raed was brave, and his bravery inspired many who saw him as an icon; he was prepared for martyrdom at any moment. Now, he walked carefully, as zionist planes looked out for him daily. His assassination, however, came not from the sky but from the ground: Raed was killed by the cowardly zionist entity via an explosive near a church next to his home in Tulkarem on January 14th, 2002.

His funeral was attended by thousands. His assassination was among the most costly for the zionist entity. Revenge was announced at his funeral. In just hours following his assassination, a curfew was imposed for panicked settlers. For the first time, Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades sent its fighters deep into the occupied lands, and in just one month, 133 soldiers and settlers were killed in response.

Today, we remember Raed and all that he represents: a love for the land, for resistance and revenge, and a refusal to surrender. Raed clung tightly to the thawabet at every stage of his life, and he pledged to never stop resisting. He never did, even after martyrdom.

Glory to the resisting Raed Al-Karmi.

🔥🟡 Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades:
---
"Fight them. Allah will punish them at your hands, disgrace them, give you victory over them, and heal the hearts of the believers."

A military communication issued by the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades in memory of the martyred leader Raed Al-Karmi and in response to the assassination of the martyrs of Jenin:

The daily crimes committed by the treacherous zionist machine against our Palestinian people in Al-Quds and our beloved West Bank require a quick response. We must stand up to these crimes. Our guns will remain the legitimate compass to repel any aggression and defend our people. We guarantee that all our military cells are in a state of general mobilization in order to defend our Palestinian people.

Therefore, we announce that our groups attacked and clashed with the occupation forces on the following axes:

• Throwing a homemade bomb towards Jalameh checkpoint, northeast of Jenin, at 7:30 pm.
• Our fighters targeted the military tower of the zionist occupation army at the entrance of Beit Ummar, north of Al-Khalil, with blessed barrages of bullets at exactly 8:15 pm.
• Shooting in the direction of the settlement of "Elon Moreh" with a heavy barrage of bullets at 8:20 pm.
• Targeting the usurping settlement of "Gilboa," which is close to the separation wall and near the Jalameh checkpoint with a heavy barrage of bullets at 8:30 pm.
• Shooting at a force of the zionist enemy army at the Jalameh checkpoint, north of Jenin, at exactly 9:10 pm.

And our fighters returned safely, under the protection of Allah.

We are the ones who, if we say, we do. So wait for our action. Our decision has been made. Allah is the overseer of all affairs.

It is a continuous revolution and intifada until victory.

Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades: If it says, it does. If it promises, it fulfills. If it strikes, it causes pain.

Today marks 32 years since the assassination of martyr Salah Khalaf, known as "Abu Iyad". A founder of Fatah, Abu Iyad devoted himself to the militant struggle and took over important positions within the faction. Abu Iyad was present in all sites of the revolution: in Cairo, Damascus, Jordan, Beirut and Tunisia. Abu Iyad led many operations throughout the years of the Lebanese war, staying steadfast against the occupation. He is also credited with founding the Black September Organization, which carried out some of the most effective external operations, such as the Munich Operation.

Abu Iyad refused to lay down arms to negotiate with the enemy. He stuck to the thawabet always, saying "negotiations only serve the occupying enemy." On the 14th of January, 1991, Abu Iyad was assassinated in Tunisia along with Abu Al-Hol (Hayel Abdulhamid) and another Fatah member. After his assassination, internal fractures within the Fatah organization became evident, culminating in the traitorous Oslo agreements in 1993.

The IOF has placed a gag order on the incident.
In Zababdeh, #Jenin, the resistance carries out what it describes as "necessary" explosives training, following the martyrdom of Izz al-Din Hamamra and Amjad Khalilya in Jenin yesterday.
Saturday, January 14th: It is 6AM in Al-Quds. The sun rises over the eternal capital of Palestine. The bullets of the resistance sing. No sound is louder than the symphony of intifada.

Here are the noteworthy developments of the past 24 hours.
🚨 A Palestinian is in a very serious condition after being shot by the IOF near the settlement of "Ofra" near Silwad, #Ramallah, where they report that he attempted a stabbing operation on soldiers.
🚨 Ahmed Hassan Kahla of Rammun, Ramallah (45 years old) has ascended to martyrdom after a cold-blooded execution by the IOF. Contrary to IOF reports, eyewitnesses say that he did not attempt a stabbing operation in "Ofra." Rather, The IOF shot him after demanding he get out of his car because he protested their firing of a stun grenade at it.

Glory to the martyrs.
