🚨 Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Commission and Palestinian Prisoners Club:

The continuation of the policy of escalation and abuse of prisoners in the occupation jails

The Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Commission and the Palestinian Prisoners Club stated that there are more than 9,000 prisoners languishing in the "israeli" occupation prisons. Since October 7th until today, they are facing unprecedented retaliatory and punitive measures that threaten their fate. Throughout the past period, they were subjected to all forms of systematic torture and persecution, turning their lives into hell.

The Commission and the Club documented, according to the lawyers' visits to several prisons and detention centers—"Ofer," "Ramon," and "Nafha"—in the past two days, the fascist occupation government's practices and its tools, and the racist violations against the prisoners, male and female, which aimed to turn their lives into a real hell and break their resolve in violation of all norms and international agreements.

The Commission and the Club highlighted that collective punishment against prisoners has become a daily and constant policy and that the escalating pace adopted by the jailers must be deterred and stopped as soon as possible, to prevent more victims from our strugglers inside the jails.

The punishments against prisoners in the mentioned prisons, which also apply to other occupation prisons, include:
1. Closing sections in all prisons, withdrawing all electrical devices, and isolating them from the outside world.
2. Cutting off electricity and water to the sections at varying times.
3. A shortage of blankets and clothes, where the prisoner only has one change of clothes.
4. The food provided to them is very poor in terms of quantity and quality, not meeting the human standard.
5. The cancellation of most visits scheduled for lawyers under the pretext of an emergency.
6. Deprivation of going out to the courtyard most of the time.
7. Harsh raids by special units on the prisoners' sections and causing harm to them.
8. The majority of prisoners today suffer from health issues as a result of the assaults, and leaving them without treatment, in addition to the emergence of health problems due to the poor quality of food, and the occupation's failure to provide tools that enable prisoners to maintain their personal hygiene.
9. Restraining prisoners during visits, with the prison administration deliberately bringing the prisoners in with their hands tied behind their backs, as well as their legs shackled, in addition to wearing a black blindfold.
10. Prisoners suffer from the policy of deliberate medical neglect and the failure to provide the necessary treatment, especially those suffering from chronic diseases.

The Commission and the Club renewed their demands to all rights and international institutions at various levels to take their real and necessary role in light of the escalation of crimes against detainees in "israeli" occupation prisons, and to not be satisfied with describing and documenting the crimes in their records. What is required today is to break the silence that costs us dearly in lives and bodies of our children.

🚨 Zionist settlers near "Kiryat Sefer" settlement west of #Ramallah stabbed Palestinian bus driver Ahmed Abu Al-Hawa with a knife.
A mass march has erupted now headed towards the zionist embassy in the Jordanian capital of Amman in anger at the IOF's crimes in Gaza—including the rape and killing of women, the siege of Al-Shifa Hospital, and the violations of Al-Aqsa—and in support of the resistance. Meanwhile, women staged a sit-in to denounce the occupation's crimes and support the women of Gaza.

🇵🇸 The National Assembly of Palestinian Tribes, Clans and Families:

The occupation continues to assassinate members of the tribal committees in retaliation for their refusal to cooperate with it

The Supreme Council for Palestinian Tribal Affairs confirmed that the occupation forces' assassination of several members of the tribal committees today at Kuwait roundabout, while they were waiting to receive and organize the distribution of humanitarian aid to the hungry citizens in the north of the Gaza Strip, reflects the extent of the occupier's fascist anger towards Palestine and also shows its incompetence and failure in undermining the unity of the Palestinian internal front.

Akif Al-Masri, the General Commissioner of the Supreme Council for Tribes, stated that the "israeli" occupation continues to target the tribal committees and punishes them for not responding to the malignant occupation's calls for cooperation and thwarting its plans aimed at forming structures that serve its interests in erasing the Palestinian cause.

Al-Masri emphasized that the components of the tribes in the Gaza Strip act as the heart of one man and strictly prohibit any contact with the occupation, regardless of the cost and the magnitude of the sacrifices.
🚨 Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Commission and the Palestinian Prisoners Club regarding the detention conditions of child prisoners (the cubs) in "Megiddo" prison (1/2):

94 children are held in "Megiddo" prison, including 24 children from Gaza.

The administration of the occupation's prisons continues to impose punitive measures against child prisoners (the cubs), which are no less severe than the retaliatory measures imposed against adult prisoners since October 7th. They are held in cells stripped of anything, doubly isolated, and deprived of family visits, in light of the ongoing deprivation of thousands of prisoners from family visits.

The number of child prisoners in "Megiddo" prison reached 94, including 24 children from Gaza, held in two rooms/cells.

Highlights of the current conditions faced by child prisoners:

The administration of "Megiddo" prison deliberately restricts the hands and feet of child prisoners during their transport for visits:
The administration of "Megiddo" prison deliberately brings the child prisoners for visits with their hands and feet shackled, and their eyes blindfolded. Once brought to the visitation room, the blindfold is removed from their eyes, and their hands are shackled in front instead of behind, with the foot shackles remaining. Despite legal teams' demands for the necessity of removing the shackles during visits, the prison administration informed them that these are new procedures.

During a recent visit, the lawyer insisted on her demands to remove the shackles from the hands of the child brought for the visit, to enable him to easily hold the receiver to talk with the lawyer, noting that this procedure was followed by the prison administration with prisoners classified as "dangerous."

Child prisoners: "We only knew the beginning of Ramadan from the new prisoners"
The administration of the occupation's prisons deliberately intensified isolation, through stripping prisoners of the simplest communication tools to know what is happening in the outside world, including radio and television, and robbed the prisoners of their ability to perceive time, or even the date.

Based on the visit to the cub (A.M), he said, "We only knew the beginning of Ramadan from the new prisoners who arrived in the section, and we did not know the time for Iftar and Suhoor, due to the absence of any clock in the section. We rely on fasting and breaking our fast when we glimpse sunlight through the small window openings, and the same goes for Suhoor. Through our vocal communication with the children of Gaza, they are our clock in the section, as one of them performs the call to prayer in the section, and when we hear it, we break our fast.
🚨 Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Commission and the Palestinian Prisoners Club regarding the detention conditions of child prisoners (the cubs) in "Megiddo" prison (2/2):

Food for the children in "Megiddo" prison during Ramadan:
Child prisoners face the starvation policy implemented by the prison administration since October 7th, as the food is poor in quantity and quality. The prison administration brings three meals, though they hardly qualify as a meal, with most of the food being rice. During Ramadan, the child prisoners collect the three meal portions and divide them for Iftar and Suhoor according to the needs of each cell, despite all the child prisoners being in a growth phase and needing food that meets their needs.

Child prisoners: Our Suhoor in Ramadan is in the dark:
One of the most significant measures taken by the prison administration since October 7th was cutting off electricity, as the prison administration provides them with limited hours of lighting in the evening, and the lights are turned off in the section at ten o'clock. According to the child visited, he said: "Our Suhoor in Ramadan is in the dark."
Among the measures implemented by the prison administration was the withdrawal of all clothes from the prisoners and not allowing them to bring in new clothes. This measure also affected the child prisoners, as they only have the clothes they are wearing, and their shoes were confiscated from them.

Raids on the cells of child prisoners have not stopped:
Attack operations on prisoners through beating have been among the most prominent policies and systematic procedures adopted intensively by the prison administration against prisoners without sparing child prisoners, especially since October 7th. Repression units continue to deliberately raid the cells of child prisoners suddenly and abuse them.

The number of child prisoners (the cubs) in the occupation's prisons is about 200, according to data available to specialized institutions, including more than 40 children under administrative detention, held in "Megiddo" and "Ofer" prisons. The number of arrests among children from the West Bank after October 7th reached about 500.

In this context, the Commission and the Club renewed their demands for international legal institutions to take responsibility for what is happening to the prisoners, including the children who are subjected to all forms of violations and horrific crimes, which have escalated unprecedentedly since October 7th.

🚨 As a mass march in condemnation of zionist crimes and in support of resistance continues in Amman, Jordanian security forces are preventing protestors from reaching the zionist embassy. Jordanian forces have deployed gas bombs towards protestors planning the besiege the embassy.

Protestors chanted, "No zionist embassy, no American embassy on Jordanian land!"

It is noteworthy that, after October 7th, the forces of the normalizing Jordanian regime have arrested and extorted thousands of citizens that have condemned zionist crimes or chanted in support of the resistance. Among the most notable of these cases is comrade Majd Al-Farraj, a pro-Palestinian organizer that opposes normalization of the Wihda party, who was kidnapped last week without charges on the basis of his solidarity actions in support of Gaza.
