As for the rumors circulating among people regarding my affiliation with one of the Palestinian factions, I want to say to everyone that my affiliation is a personal matter that concerns only me and does not change my intention or goal in any way. I reiterate to you that my allegiance is to Allah, religion, and the homeland, and as for the faction I have chosen or will choose, this is due to personal goals and reasons that have nothing to do with anyone.
As for the matter of wanting to surrender myself and negotiate a settlement with the [Palestinian] Authority, this is completely untrue and I personally utterly refuse this matter. I bear witness to Allah that I am moving forward, not retreating, with all my determination to achieve martyrdom, with Allah's permission.
I do not fear death or loneliness, for Allah is my supporter and guardian, and the angels of mercy surround me and assist me. Do not think that I fear time or dread death; when death comes, death is a right. I do not fear disgrace, but rather, I fear missing the opportunity, and I am completely confident that our city containsโwithin its alleys, neighborhoods, and campsโa group of the best, honorable, and free young men who will not accept humiliation and disgrace. We call for moving beyond the square of silence and taking action to stop the crimes of field executions and the abuse of those besieged in Al-Shifa Complex and its surroundings.
We in the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) condemn the absolute international official silence on the humanitarian disaster currently being created by the fascist war machine of the occupation at Al-Shifa Hospital and its surroundings, continuing for the sixth consecutive day. This includes the continuation of horrific war crimes of executions, maltreatment, and burning of homes with their owners inside, besieging them without water, food, or medicine, and forcibly evacuating them amid a hail of bullets and shells, without any reaction from the international community, the concerned United Nations institutions, or international humanitarian organizations.
We demand our Arab and Islamic nation, the free people of the world, and the masses of our people in the West Bank, Al-Quds, and the occupied interior, to immediately act on all fronts to form the greatest pressure on the interests of the occupation and its supporters, and to exert efforts to support our people in the Gaza Strip, in their battle against the zionist killing and genocide machine. In this context, we affirm that these heinous crimes will not break the will, resilience, and steadfastness of our people on their land, and their commitment to their right to freedom and self-determination.
