🚨🟢 The Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, delivered a speech today, March 10th, 2024, welcoming the blessed month of Ramadan, discussing the ceasefire negotiations and plans for the Hamas movement.

Based on three fundamental rules, Ismail Haniyeh has asserted five principles for achieving any agreement with the occupation.

Ismail Haniyeh, the fighting brother and head of the political bureau of the movement, has affirmed five principles for reaching a comprehensive agreement to halt the war. These include: a total ceasefire, full withdrawal of the occupation army from all lands of the Strip, complete and unconditional return of the displaced, addressing humanitarian issues including relief, shelter, and reconstruction, ending the siege, and reaching a dignified deal for the exchange of prisoners.

In a speech delivered on the eve of the blessed month of Ramadan, the head of the political bureau highlighted that these five principles are grounded on three rules that have guided the negotiations towards an agreement. He clarified that the first rule is that the agreement must lead to a ceasefire. The second rule is to translate this legendary steadfastness, heroism, and these sacrifices into real achievements for our people on the battlefield, national, and political levels. The third rule is to block all suspicious plans that target Gaza in its national, administrative, and political dimensions.

Haniyeh emphasized that the enemy bears the responsibility for not reaching any agreement and evades giving any clear commitments regarding the agreement. He stated, "I tell you clearly, responsibly, and impartially that the enemy has so far evaded providing clear guarantees and commitments, especially in stopping the aggressive war on the Gaza Strip." He further stressed that the movement's leadership categorically rejects any agreement that does not end the war on Gaza, does not bring the displaced back to their homes, or does not ensure the withdrawal of the occupation army from the Strip and secures the humanitarian issues for our people.

The head of the movement clarified that the agreement must include three interlinked phases and also be backed by international guarantees to compel the occupation to comply with what is agreed upon, noting that the occupation and its government bear the responsibility for not reaching an agreement as they are unwilling to adhere to the basic principles of the agreement.

Haniyeh affirmed that Hamas and its leadership are open to continuing negotiations and any formula that ends this aggression and these crimes against our Palestinian people. In his speech, he mentioned that Hamas does not compromise on any drop of blood of a child, woman, elder, or fighter from our people.

Haniyeh warned that the enemy is conducting a psychological war against our people, with attempts to drive wedges, create, and spread chaos—all of which will fail and not succeed, cautioning against falling prey to rumors and malicious media campaigns.

He praised the great, legendary, and heroic steadfastness of our people in the battle of Al-Aqsa Flood, noting that as the battle enters its sixth month, the enemy has not achieved any of its goals, has not eliminated Hamas or the resistance, has not recovered any of its prisoners except through agreement. He explained that the occupation has also failed in displacing our people and scattering the Gaza Strip despite all the massacres, genocides, and ethnic cleansing it has practiced against our Palestinian people.

Haniyeh affirmed that Hamas is following up arrangements for the internal Palestinian situation and is more concerned than ever with the unity of the Palestinian people and rebuilding its political and leadership components on correct and sound bases. He said, "This entails three levels: the leadership level and rebuilding the national reference within the framework of the Palestine Liberation Organization through elections for the Palestinian National Council, agreeing on forming a national consensus government with specific tasks for a temporary period until general legislative and presidential elections and a Palestinian National Council are held, and agreeing on a political program for our people at this stage." He added, "We have presented a political approach in this regard, which consists of ending the zionist occupation of our land in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, establishing an independent Palestinian state with full sovereignty and Al-Quds as its capital, along with the right of return and self-determination."

The head of the movement called on all our people everywhere, especially our people in Al-Quds, the West Bank, in exile, and diaspora, to support the battle of Al-Aqsa Flood to protect Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque to face any conspiracies targeting our Al-Aqsa and our Islamic and Christian holy sites, urging them to make the most of the blessed month of Ramadan.

Haniyeh saluted all resistance fronts supporting our people's battle and the resistance, whether the front of Lebanon of heroism and sacrifice, the front of Yemen of wisdom, courage, bravery, heroism, and authenticity, and the front of Iraq. He also saluted our nation's sons and the massive crowds that come out in all the capitals and cities of our Arab and Islamic countries, considering the popular movement occurring constituting a very important transformation at the level of global public opinion regarding our cause, rights, people, and even our valiant resistance.
