The elegant fighter, as he is known by many, whose coat, style, and resistance captivated audiences worldwide, is the Al-Qassam field commander Hamza Hisham Amer, "Abu Hisham."
Hamza is the son of Hisham Amer, an Al-Qassam commander who ascended in the first intifada, one of the most wanted men in the Al-Qassam Brigades. Hisham had one son.
In the course of Al-Aqsa Flood, Hamza led ambushes of death on behalf of Al-Qassam, killing and wounding IOF soldiers, repeatedly destroying their vehicles without fear in the Al-Amal neighborhood area west of the city of Khan Younis.
