The Palestinian resistance stands united and ready to escalate their actions as we enter Ramadan.

Ramadan in Palestine holds a unique character as the people of the land struggle to protect their land, cities, villages, farms and sanctities. The month of Ramadan in years past was no different: At the start of the holy month two years ago, the martyr hero Raed Khazem carried out a shooting operation in the heart of “Tel Aviv,” killing six settlers. Leading up to Ramadan, the Aghbariyeh brothers carried out their heroic operation near occupied Haifa which killed two settlers and wounded at least 10 others, two days after Diaa Hamarsheh killed 5 zionists and wounded 6 in "Tel Aviv." Both Raed and Diaa entered occupied Palestine from Jenin, undermining the illusion of security which would be fully shattered on October 7, 2024. Countless shooting and stabbing operations struck fear into the heart of the zionist entity.

Last Ramadan saw the new capabilities and unity of the Palestinian resistance on full display. In response to zionist attacks on worshippers in Al-Aqsa Mosque, Palestinians responded in full force with rockets, bombs, bullets, knives, molotov cocktails, and stones. Missiles fired from southern Lebanon struck the zionist entity, undermining all deterrence equations set by the enemy. Simultaneously, Saraya Al-Quds launched the “Let the Checkpoints Fall” campaign. As though offering a prelude to October 7, Al-Qassam Brigades stated, “The zero hour is approaching for us to turn the tables on all those who have transgressed against our great people."

Today, the resistance has surpassed the expectations of both friend and foe, and Ramadan will be no exception. Today, Abu Obeida called on all Palestinians to rise up during Ramadan in support of Al-Aqsa mosque, for which this historic battle is being waged, mirroring Abu Hamza’s call. The Palestinian resistance displayed extraordinary initiative and coordination; first, with the double operation at “Homesh,” then, the announcement of general mobilization by the Rapid Response Groups, followed by countless shooting operations at settlements and colonial checkpoints across the West Bank.

Today’s explosion of resistance is but a small hint of what Ramadan will hold for the occupier. The zionist entity stands paralyzed as, despite their best efforts, the remainder of Palestine rises up in support of Gaza and Al-Aqsa. While Ramadan will pass and come again, the scars and pain inflicted upon the zionist occupier will be permanent.
