I tell you all that martyrdom is not death; martyrdom is pride for yourself and pride for the whole world. Martyrdom is victory.
It is true that your life will end, but it will end while you are happy. I would like to convey my message to the whole world, that, as [Ibrahim] Al-Nabulsi said, "I wish all these people would wake up." I am telling you all to set your compass and point it towards the occupation.
I hope that our Lord accepts me among the martyrs, and I hope that our Lord puts an end to the spies, and I hope that you will all forgive me and not forget me.
I do not want to tell you goodbye; I want to tell you that we will meet in Paradise.
