Al-Yassin 105 : A Story of Challenge and Achievement in the Shadow of Siege
Throughout the struggle between the occupier and the Palestinian resistance, the occupier and its supporters from the unjust global system endeavored to maintain a significant superiority in military capabilities, advanced and very advanced weapons, financial support, and military expertise, in contrast to depriving the Palestinian of building any form of strength or even granting them the right to confront the arrogance of the occupier and to counter any form of its aggression and crimes.

A Qualitative Leap
In 2014, within the lessons learned from the Battle of Al-Asf Al-Maakoul, the recommendation was to produce an effective anti-armor weapon against enemy vehicles and armored vehicles like (Merkava 4, the Namer carrier, the armored D9 bulldozer, and others) and in response to this recommendation, the research and development teams of engineers and cadres in the military manufacturing units of Al-Qassam Brigades worked diligently and prepared studies on the possibility of achieving this, especially since this type of science requires high precision in measurements, materials, and alloys.
As a result of sincere efforts, creative minds, and a will that defied the impossible and dug into the rock, after dozens of attempts and experiments in the years 2015-2016-2017, the Al-Yassin 105 anti-armor shell entered production in 2018, as well as the anti-fortification and anti-personnel Al-Yassin shells, in addition to guerilla action devices.
This was a complete innovation attributed to the engineers of Al-Qassam from scratch until the successful and powerful launch of the shell and its continuation until reaching its target, with the ability to penetrate armor at a distance ranging between 60-100 cm in the body of the tank and the armored vehicle.
In parallel with this development in military manufacturing, the Brigades worked on training armor snipers to confront the vehicles and armored vehicles of the occupation army. This path included a detailed study of the Merkava tank and other vehicles of the occupation army, identifying their weaknesses and operational mechanisms and tactics, as well as building models that accurately mimic those vehicles in terms of size and shape, and designing shooting simulators to train the fighters on various types of shooting—fixed, moving, close, and long-range—and also training on maneuvering with anti-armor weapons in the field.
Thus, an important stage in the development of preparation and readiness within the ranks of Al-Qassam Brigades was completed, summarizing Al-Qassam's readiness to fight against the enemy's armor and fortifications.

Today, we commemorate the first year since the martyrdom of three of the lion guards of Nablus.

Our brave heroes were martyred by the bullets of the cowardly occupation forces in coordination with the traitorous comprador, the so-called Palestinian Authority, who handed intel on their location after an earlier failed assassination attempt of the martyr Ibrahim Al-Nabulsi that same day in the early hours of February 8th, 2022. Over 90 bullets were fired at their car that day, in an unforgettable scene of zionist brutality and cowardice.
It was later revealed that they were founding members of the Lions’ Den and were instrumental during its infancy. Sons of the Old City of Nablus, they grew up in the footsteps of the martyrs, carrying out operation after operation and defending every invasion of the camp. They were a nightmare for the enemy.
Their martyrdom set fire to the land underneath the feet of the zionist occupiers across all of Palestine. A nation and a people rose in honor of its martyrs; thousands committed their lives to our righteous cause by picking up the rifle and pointing it towards the enemy, and did so following in the footsteps of those before them, to victory or martyrdom.
In the words of the martyr Basil Al-Araj, "Either we resist or we wait for annihilation."
A martyr rises, and, in their honor, a thousand others stand ready to continue marching on the path they paved.
We witness their spirits alive today, beating in hearts of the victorious resistance of Nablus, with martyr Al-Mansour Al-Jabbar carrying out an operation at one of the city's colonial checkpoints. They sat, as they did together with Ibrahim Al-Nabulsi, prepared to defend their land by any means necessary, guardians in their lifetimes and in martyrdom.

The resistant martyrs of Jenin and Nablus always slept with their weapons by their sides. The life of a resistance fighter is not an easy one; these men decided to resist, decided to leave their family homes, and decided to accept martyrdom as their fate. Fighters of the Jenin Brigade, Nablus Brigade, or Lions' Den, in order to protect their families, leave home; they live with their comrades-in-arms, often in decrepit conditions with just a bed, their weapon, and food by their side, ready to engage in combat at any moment. The life of a resistance fighter is one of sacrifice and heroism. Glory to them, and may they find peace in their eternal sleep.
