🚨 Highlights from the press conference by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Ashraf Al-Qidra, on day 111 of the brutal "israeli" aggression on the Gaza Strip:

The "israeli" occupation commits a horrific massacre against thousands of starving people waiting for humanitarian aid at Al-Kuwait Roundabout in Gaza, resulting in 20 martyrs and 150 injuries, including dozens of critical cases that may increase the number of martyrs due to the severity of the injuries and lack of medical resources in Al-Shifa Medical Complex, which the "israeli" occupation has destroyed.

Medical teams are trying to operate parts of the hospitals in North Gaza, which were deliberately destroyed by the "israeli" aggression. We are working with UN institutions to provide medical supplies and fuel to restore their vitality and ensure their continued operation.

Medical aid still enters in a limited and inconsistent manner with our basic needs, and 70% of it is unusable and outside our priorities during the current severe emergency.

We demand all international bodies to review the medical aid and align it with our declared needs for emergency departments, intensive care units, operating rooms, incubators, cancer and blood diseases, chronic diseases, and other essential needs.

The mechanism for evacuating the wounded is still ineffective and does not match the thousands of wounded who urgently need to save their lives and do not have available treatments in Gaza. We demand all relevant bodies to provide new and effective mechanisms to save the lives of the wounded.

We demand the evacuation of 7,000 wounded and patients as an urgent priority to save their lives.

We demand the International Committee of the Red Cross and United Nations institutions to protect hospitals and meet their needs for medicine, food, and fuel, as well as to visit medical teams detained by the "israeli" occupation and press for their release.

No proposal has been presented to the resistance regarding the cessation of aggression and the exchange of prisoners except for the Egyptian proposal, which was responded to by the resistance with a joint paper between Hamas and the Islamic Jihad Movement about three weeks ago. The essence of it is that the stages of exchange should be accompanied by a ceasefire and a complete withdrawal of the enemy forces from the Gaza Strip.

Everything that occurred after the Egyptian proposal is merely an exploration of positions and some ideas related to changing some stages of the exchange and the duration of each. However, they carry no guarantees for stopping the aggression and the withdrawal of the occupation army.
