The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, exalts to the masses of our people and our Arab and Islamic nation, its martyred Qassami fighter, Wissam Walid Mohammed Khashan (25 years old), from the village of Bir Al-Basha south of Jenin, who ascended this morning after an armed clash with the occupation forces.

As we exalt today a brave knight in Jenin, who stood firm in the enemy's prisons, and came out brandishing his rifle to continue the path of jihad and resistance, and ascended joining the ranks of the righteous martyrs, who sacrificed their lives and blood in defense of the children of our people and the sanctities of our nation throughout occupied Palestine; we affirm that this blood and sacrifices will not go in vain, and will remain a beacon illuminating our path towards Al-Quds and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

We congratulate the Islamic world on the birth of the Prophet's self, his successor, his caliph, and the father of the entire Islamic nation. The Prophet said about him, "Ali and I are the fathers of this nation." From this perspective, this day has become a celebration of the father. We urge the believers to bless their fathers, show them respect, and express their gratitude for their good upbringing and care.

On this occasion, we reaffirm that the Islamic resistance has reached a stage in its military operations of supporting Gaza and liberating Iraq from the clutches of colonialism, following a victorious and successful second phase, to a stage of breaking barriers. The arrogant American occupier understands only the logic of power, sees only the color of blood, and hears only the sound of missiles. By Allah's grace, the resistance possesses ample morale, steadfastness, faith, and capability to achieve a resounding victory in this just battle.

Then, it is important to warn against the American deceptions that claim their right to target honorable resistance fighters in case of the announcement of a withdrawal schedule. This trick should not deceive the honorable, for the occupier will remain a foreign colonizer, and the resistance fighter will remain the son of the homeland, born of its soil, and with the right to defend his dignity and sovereignty, while the occupier will remain an invader whose blood is permissible in our beloved Iraq.

The Follow-up Committee of the National and Islamic Forces called on the United Nations and international community institutions to hold the occupation forces accountable for their new crime committed today by targeting a gathering of besieged citizens waiting for relief aid south of Gaza City, where they killed and injured dozens of them.

The Follow-up Committee considered this new massacre a complete war crime committed by the Nazi occupation forces, continuing their crimes of ethnic cleansing and ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip.
