The Palestinian tradition of tatreez, or embroidery, is inseparable from the Palestinian people both within the homeland and across the diaspora. Often used to decorate clothing and quilting, each Palestinian locale has distinct patterns and techniques. It is an art form reflecting the rich cultural heritage and national identity.

Resistance News Network presents this special work of handmade tatreez in honor of the battle of Al-Aqsa Flood.

The piece begins from the Gaza strip located at the bottom. Soaring above it are the resistance paragliders. At the edges of the Gaza Strip are the brave fighters who entered occupied Palestine by foot.

In the space outside of Gaza, red triangles are scattered as the glorious rockets of the resistance strike every corner of the zionist entity. To the right of the map of Gaza, an inscription reads “See the men, see their responses.” Finally, at the top of the stalk, an inscription reads “Gaza is the land of pride.” The date, “7 October” is inscribed in gold at the very right of the piece.

The shock waves caused by Al-Aqsa Flood spread up across the piece and connect to the West Bank and the Axis of Resistance. The resistance of the different cities in the West Bank (Ramallah, Jenin, Al-Quds, Areeha, Tubas, Qalqilya, Tulkarem, Nablus, Al-Khalil, Bethlehem) is highlighted at the top of the piece. The icon of Hezbollah and the raised fist of Palestine emerge from the waves under the inscription "they are victorious." The vigilant ships of Yemen sail under the inscription "the junction of the two seas is our Bab Al-Mandab." The unity of all fronts is expressed in the compilation of 🔻 and ⭕️, preempting death and destruction to the enemy.

Palestinians continue to resist by any means necessary. The top of the piece reads: “We hope from Allah what they do not hope for." Despite the multitude of fronts, the blood of martyrs in all fields mingles; it is united in the goal of Palestinian liberation and the removal of the zionist enemy from all our land.

In continuation of the path of jihad and resistance, and following the path of thorns and martyrdom on the road of the blessed Al-Aqsa, the Mujahideen Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Mujahideen Movement, mourns the martyr leader, the fighter Mahmoud Kafina (Abu Al-Hanoud), the Commander of the Central Brigade, who fell due to targeting by the zionist enemy while leading his forces in Al-Bureij Camp, advancing and not retreating.

We bid farewell to the martyr leader Abu Al-Hanoud after a long series of jihad and sacrifice, the last of which was the Al-Aqsa Flood battle, where he inflicted heavy losses on the criminal enemy forces and led the clashes and special operations alongside our heroic fighters in the Central Brigade.

As we bid farewell to our brave leader, joining the caravan of martyrs of our people and our martyrs from the Military Council, leaders, cadres, and fighters who advanced in the ranks in the Al-Aqsa Flood battle, we affirm that the crimes of the Nazi enemy will not weaken our resolve. The blood of the leaders and fighters will only increase our determination and adherence to the path of jihad and resistance, and our commitment to reclaiming all rights and liberating all the land.

🚨 For the last two hours, IOF warplanes and artillery have been heavily bombing the vicinity of Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis in the southern #Gaza Strip, forcing hundreds of displaced people to leave the hospital under bombardment.

Artillery bombing targeted residential buildings in Khan Younis, leading to at least seven martyrs.

In support of the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in backing their noble and brave resistance, the Islamic Resistance carried out a number of operations against the positions and deployments of the "israeli" army at the Lebanese-Palestinian borders on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, as follows:

- Eastern Sector:

1- At 14:00, targeting the Samaqa site in the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms with missile weapons and hitting it directly.
2- At 15:30, targeting the vicinity of the settlements in the occupied area of Nabi Yusha with batches of appropriate missiles as a response to the enemy's aggressions on the surroundings of the southern villages.
3- At 16:20, targeting the Bayad Blida site with appropriate weapons and hitting it directly.

- Western Sector:

1- At 10:45, targeting a gathering of "israeli" army soldiers east of the "Even Menachem" settlement with rocket weapons.
2- At 16:20, targeting a gathering of "israeli" army soldiers around the Ramia site with appropriate weapons and hitting it directly.
3- At 18:20, targeting the Hadab Al-Bustan site with Burkan missiles and hitting it directly.

The UKMTO reported that a drone was spotted 150 nautical miles southeast of the Yemeni city of Al-Shihr.

🚨 A report by the Palestinian Prisoners Club has found that since October 7th, the IOF has abducted at least 5,980 Palestinians in the West Bank.

At about 1,300, Al-Khalil governorate experienced the highest rate of arrests. These arrest campaigns targeted all groups, including women, children, the elderly, and former prisoners who have previously endured years in the occupation's prisons.

The arrests included 31 women, some of whom were mothers of prisoners, and others who were arrested as hostages to pressure their wanted sons. The arrests also included about 35 wounded and sick, along with 9 journalists.

Many of the arrested in Al-Khalil were transferred to administrative detention without charge or trial, including 6 female students.

30 families were targeted by mass arrest operations. The latest of these was the Abu Jahisha family from the town of Idna, which has been facing significant targeting for several days, following the martyrdom of three sons from the family. 20 family members were arrested, in addition to the operations of abuse, threats, and destruction faced by the family.

Finally, the occupation continues to kidnap the bodies of 18 martyrs Al-Khalil martyred since October 7th, and 12 of the martyrs after October 7th are former prisoners.
