The funeral of young Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades fighter Suleiman Kanaan took place in Al-Bireh today. He and Khaled Hamidat ascended to martyrdom after being shot by the IOF yesterday.
His mother stated, "With the events in Gaza, he told me he couldn't handle seeing the photos of Gaza's martyrs. He would tell me, mom, I want to be martyred. When I'm martyred, I want you to carry by body." "I wanted him to excel in the tawjihi [secondary exam], but he earned a certificate [martyrdom] better than the tawjihi. Praise be to Allah, for the sake of Palestine, for the homeland. The homeland deserves our children, and they are not better than the children of Gaza."
As he asked for in his will, his mother carried his body, covered with roses. The funeral was a display of resistance, honor, and unity, with flags of all Palestinian resistance factions present, as well as Hezbollah flags and a banner of Ansarallah commander Abdulmalik Al-Houthi.
Mourners chanted, "O Jamil Al-Amouri, we brought you a rose."

22 years ago today, PFLP Secretary-General Ahmed Sa'adat was kidnapped by the forces of the comprador PA for "incitement," following a speech in which he said, "We do not deserve respect unless our motto is: An eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth, and a head for a head." He was referencing the killing of zionist minister Rehavam Ze'evi on the glorious October 17th of 2001, carried out in revenge for the assassination of martyred PFLP leader Abu Ali Mustafa.
Sa'adat was held in the infamous Areeha prison of the Palestinian Authority, where the PA placed him under watch of US, British, and Canadian guards, lackeys of the zionist occupation. In fact, it was the fourth time that he was held in PA prisons, out of 11 total arrests since 1968.
Months later, as part of the traitorous PA's "sacred security coordination," he was handed over by the Palestinian Authority to the zionist prisons from which he continues to lead the PFLP and release statements urging unity and international solidarity, leading hunger strikes even in solitary confinement. He was released in a prisoner exchange deal in 1985 and continued his revolutionary Palestinian work until 1991 when he immigrated to Germany, where he passed away on January 6, 2024.
As the Front extends its deepest condolences to his entire family, comrades, and friends, it affirms that it bids farewell to a revolutionary fighter who was distinguished by his generosity, courage, and initiative.
