The Deputy Secretary-General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Comrade Jamil Mezher "Abu Wadie," on behalf of the Secretary-General, the Political Bureau, and the Central Committee, extends deepest condolences to Ismail Haniyeh, the Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas, and the leadership of Hamas, for the martyrdom of the great national leader, Deputy Head of the Movement, Sheikh Saleh Al-Arouri "Abu Mohammad", and a group of heroic fighters in a cowardly zionist assassination crime in the southern suburb of Beirut city last night.
The Deputy Secretary-General affirmed that Palestine and the national movement have lost one of the main and steadfast pillars of Palestinian resistance, who raised the flag of struggle and resistance in the West Bank since his early years and other arenas, facing pursuit, arrest, exile, and assassination attempts with steadfastness, solidity, and a firm stance.
The Deputy Secretary-General added that the martyr leader Abu Mohammad was an exemplary unifying struggler, dedicating his recent efforts towards the unity of the Palestinian stance, and the unity of Palestinian resistance factions and other resistance forces, focusing recently on uniting Palestinian forces behind a unified national leadership to manage the confrontation battle with the zionist enemy, and counter all liquidation plots against the Palestinian cause. He also made significant achievements in enhancing unity among resistance factions and expanding coordination across all areas of the Axis of Resistance.
The Deputy Secretary-General considered the martyr leader to have left distinct marks in military work, reflected in the development of capabilities and potential of the resistance in the valiant [Gaza] Strip, waging a heroic battle against the invading zionist forces and inflicting more losses. He also played a crucial role in escalating resistance in the West Bank, always confident that the West Bank would soon experience a comprehensive explosion.
The Deputy Secretary-General affirmed that the cowardly assassination of the leader Abu Mohammad and his fellow resistant leaders will not weaken or break the spine of the resistance. Rather, it will increase their determination to continue resistance.
The Deputy Secretary-General pledged to the late great fighter to continue on the path of struggle, on the same path he fought and was martyred for, until achieving our people's goals of liberation and return, and the establishment of the state of Palestine on all national soil with its capital as Al-Quds.

Abu Khaled, the military spokesperson for the Omar al-Qasim Forces, the military wing of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, stated that our fighters succeeded in downing a reconnaissance drone belonging to the special zionist unit on the northern outskirts of the Al-Shati' camp. In a separate context, our fighters lured a zionist infantry force into a well-prepared ambush for the occupation army forces on the outskirts of the Al-Shati' camp, where it was lured and a land mine was detonated, followed by close-range engagement with the remaining members of this unit using appropriate weapons.
Abu Khaled confirmed that there were several deaths and injuries among this unit of the occupation army.
