🚩 At 10PM Al-Quds time / 3PM EST, RNN will be releasing a long-form recap of the “Our March is Resistance” festival which took place in Gaza today.
In the name of the first stone and the latest rocket.
Today, we commemorate the 35th anniversary of the 1st Intifada, also known as the stone Intifada.
We re-emphasise the steadfast and unwavering adherence of the Palestinian people to the thawabet (principles) of the Palestinian revolutionary struggle against imperialism, settler colonialism, and injustice globally.
Our path to liberation is paved through the blood of our martyrs, the sacrifice of our prisoners, and the steadfastness of our fala7een and refugees.
35 years since, and the symphony of the intifada remains the symphony of the land and the Palestinian people. Throw your stones, fire your rockets, break the glass house that is the zionist entity.
Long live the Intifada.
Long live free Arab Palestine.
Disgrace to the traitors, agents, normalizers, and infiltrators.

The PFLP's 55th Founding March Upholds AlThawabet [1/3]
To commemorate the 55th anniversary of its founding, under the slogan of “Our March is Resistance,” the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine hosted a celebration parade and rally in Gaza.
The slogan “Our March is Resistance” is an affirmation of the thawabet of the Front, that there is no direction for it except Palestine, #AllofPalestine.
In a speech to tens of thousands who gathered in AlKatiba square in Gaza, Deputy Secretary-General, Comrade Jamil Mezhar honored and celebrated the many who marched along the journey of liberation.
The PFLP refused for the 55th year solutions, settlements, or negotiations, saluting the founding comrade, Dr. George Habash, who confidently assured us of the inevitability of the demise of this zionist entity, and the martyr Abu Ali Mustafa—who grasped althawabet, and the Secretary-General, the captive comrade Ahmed Saadat—the owner of a sincere promise, Ghassan Kanafani—the literary fighter, and Abu Hani Wadie Haddad, Palestine's first general on land, sea, and air.
Mezhar said, “Palestine, #AllofPalestine, is still clinging to the poor and oppressed peoples, who are subjected to the American-zionist imperialist aggression. On the 55th anniversary of the launch of the Popular Front, we reassure the masses of our people that this zionist enemy is delusional if it thinks for a moment that by pursuing, summoning and arresting anyone who passes under the Front's flag or next to its slogan or is related to any of its members or fighters, that it will be able to break the will of the Front or uproot it."
He recalled the many who gave their lives to the cause of revolution, from Che Guevarra, the first martyr Shadia AbuGhazaleh, and to the international fighters who took up arms for the sake of Palestine, like comrade Okamoto and his fellow martyrs, the fighter Georges Abdallah who is detained in French prisons, and to the Iranian fighter Zafir who carried out the first martyrdom operation with the explosive belt.

Comrade Muzher called for a moment during his speech to #HonorTheMartyrs: “Abdul Qadir Al-Husseini, Muhammad Jamjoom, Fouad Hijazi and Atta Al-Zir to the martyrs Yasser Arafat, George Habash, Ahmed Yassin, Fathi Al-Shaqaqi, Abu Ali Mustafa, Abu Jihad, Abdel Aziz Al-Rantisi, Omar Al-Qasim, Abu Al-Abbas, Ahmed Jibril, Haidar Abdel-Shafi, Samir Ghosheh To Suleiman al-Najab, Abd al-Rahim Ahmad, Mamdouh Nofal, Zuhair Mohsen, Jamil Shehadeh, Bashir al-Barghouti, Dalal al-Maghribi, Basil al-Araj, Jamal Abu Samhadana, and Abu Sharia, to the commanders of the Lions' Den and Jenin and Dheisheh Brigades (Nabulsi, Tamer al-Kilani, al-Amouri, al-Zubaidi, al-Saadi, Tamimi, and Omar Manna).
He also called attention to the prisoners, saluting them; “Leaders Ahmed Saadat, Marwan Al-Barghouti, Hassan Salameh, Bassam Al-Saadi, Wajdi Jouda, Bassem Al-Khandakji, and Israa Al-Jaabis...and a long convoy of prisoners of freedom and dignity.”
Mezher saluted the imprisoned thinker Walid Daqqa: "We tell you that you will triumph over this cancer as you have always triumphed over the Zionist prisons. We stand by the imprisoned fighter comrade Walid Daqqa by pressing the jailer to force him to release him, and the sun of freedom will certainly rise for Walid to embrace his daughter Milad."
He emphasized the PFLP's continued commitment to uphold resistance as the main means to liberation. He also shared the group’s incessant commitment to protect rights, guarantee freedoms, embody social justice, and confront interest groups and corruption lobbies, preserving the rights of the marginalized, the poor, youth, and students, defending the rights of refugees and strengthening the steadfastness of Palestinians in the occupied interior.
About a week after Mahmoud Abbas said the Palestinian Authority of Normalization is not interested in any plans to rebuild the PLO, Mezhar reminded the crowd that unity is always the interest of the PFLP, obvious by its commitment to Al Thawabet:

"Our hand is extended to rebuild the Palestine Liberation Organization… in a way that rebuilds the Palestinian political system, including setting up a program to confront the policies of the Palestinian Authority ‘government.’ Our people will not be hostage to anyone and will move towards imposing unity….We agreed on the National Document, which established the common denominator [Al Thawabet] of all political forces. We do not need to beg for reconciliation, but we need the political will to achieve national unity."
He explained that the PA has hijacked the PLO, with conditional membership reliant on accepting reconciliation activities. To this the Deputy-General rejected reconciliation being imposed. The Deputy Secretary-General demanded the need to hold comprehensive elections in Jerusalem, and we must turn the elections in Jerusalem into a battle and confrontation with this occupation.
“The Front, as always, is accustomed to building under fire, and it will definitely be a sword in the face of the Zionist usurper, a sword that will never be broken, loyal to the blood of the martyrs of our people, our nation, and the prisoners, especially to the bloodshed of the martyr Ammar Mufleh, who our hearts cried for,” said Mezhar.
He continued, “The formation of a unified front of resistance against the occupation is a duty for us and all factions, as a tool for developing and sustaining the clash, and responding to the aggression of the occupation. The battle of breaking the siege on Gaza and every besieged inch in the occupied homeland is a priority for defending the existence of our people, its resistance, and its incubators, and we are working with the patriotic community to devise new, capable methods to confront the blockade that will force the occupation to stop."

The mother of the martyred commander Tamer Al-Kilani, one of the leaders of the Lions' Den, speaks at the anniversary of the launch of the PFLP.
In a video speech at the 55th anniversary festival of the Popular Front in Al-Katiba Square in Gaza City, she said, "My will to you and to all our people: Take Tamer and his heroic story as an example for you. Take this honorable path. Do not forget the path of liberation, the path of honorable people, and do not ever put down the gun."
She added, "The gun and the flag are the honor in this life. Preserve them well, and continue on the path of Tamer, Wadie Haddad, Al-Hakim, Abu Ali Mustafa, Leila Khaled, and all the the upstanding people."
The martyr's mother noted that comrade Wadie Haddad, al-Hakim, and Abu Ali Mustafa were role models for Tamer, who was raised on the principles of these leaders. She concluded by saying, "Tamer, since his childhood, was a member of the Popular Front, and in the end he honored us and the Front with this heroic act and this sacrifice." She expressed her pride that her son was in the Popular Front and took this path.
