Once again, the occupation deliberately targets Palestinian journalists and their families. The home of Al-Jazeera journalist Anas Al-Sharif, in Jabalia, was directly bombed in an IOF airstrike which led to the martyrdom of his father.
Anas has been one of the foremost journalists documenting the crimes of the occupation during the IOF ground invasion of Gaza. Fearlessly, he has exposed massacres, hospital bombings, and the IOF's use of Palestinians as human shields, on top of other crimes.
He has been threatened by the occupation more than once in an attempt to silence his voice.
