Abu Khaled, the spokesperson for the Martyr Omar Al-Qasim Forces, the military wing of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, released a military report on the ongoing fighting in the northern and southern regions of the Gaza Strip, stating:
First: Our heroic fighters successfully ambushed an enemy infantry patrol in the western sector of Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, showering it with a barrage of bullets, hand grenades, and explosive devices, killing and wounding all its members, and our fighters managed to safely withdraw from the field back to their positions.
Second: Our fighters set an ambush for one of the enemy's armored patrols on the axis of Jabalia Camp, where they succeeded in destroying the infiltrating vehicle and killing and wounding those inside.
In this battle, we bid farewell to a leader of the Martyr Omar Al-Qasim Forces, one of its senior founders, a member of its military council, and the commander of the Jabalia battalion, Comrade Ayman Kamel Juha (Abu Kamel), a comrade of the late Abu Nidal Abu Al-Abah, the commander of Martyr Omar Al-Qasim Forces in northern Gaza, who was assassinated by enemy aircraft in the battles against the occupation in 2008.
Third: Our fighters engaged in fierce battles against enemy forces in Shujaieya, inflicting losses in equipment and personnel.
In this battle, we also mourn the loss of another hero of the Martyr Omar Al-Qasim Forces, the martyr fighter Rizq Sharif Al-Ar'ir from the brigade in the northern Strip.
Fourth: Our forces continued to confront "israeli" vehicles attempting to infiltrate east of Al-Bureij Camp and Khan Younis, engaging in fierce battles, forcing them to retreat after losing several of their vehicles and personnel, dead and wounded.
Commander Abu Khaled called on the families of "israeli" soldiers and officers to pressure their children to withdraw from the ranks of the occupation army, stating that this is the only way to ensure their safe return home.
