22-year-old freed prisoner Mariam Salhab, liberated from the zionist prisons today following the resistance's prisoner exchange deal after being abducted on October 26th, speaks about the conditions of the prisons:

"We were preparing ourselves for the prisoner count at 10:00. The jailer surprised me by naming me and my friend in the same room, at the top of the list. Our feelings were mixed with feelings of joy for our release and sadness that we are leaving the other girls in the prison amidst these difficult conditions.

The other prisoners told me that after October 7th, they were repressed, sprayed with pepper spray, and their electronic devices were taken from them. They were only allowed 30 minutes per day to use the bathroom.

We had very little food, and it was very bad. The capacity of the prison was 50 people, but we had 85 prisoners there, forcing others to sleep on the ground.

I cannot forget the sadness about our martyrs in Gaza. We thank our resistance that sacrificed for us to achieve this blessed deal."
