"We raise our children to love Palestine and to love those who love Palestine, to love the resistance and the resistance fighters."
Imprisoned PIJ leader Sheikh Maher Al-Akhras gave the attached interview on November 14th of last year, displaying his love for the resistance, its axis, and the land and how his children inherit this conscience. Behind him, martyrs Hajj Qassem Soleimani and PIJ founder Fathi Shaqaqi, for whom we have to thank for the resistance's tunnel system and today's resistance movement, respectively.
Today, Maher Al-Akhras, who was always side by side with Sheikh Khader Adnan, faces baseless charges and intentional court delays after numerous hunger strikes.
When asked "What is the best way to liberate the prisoners?," Sheikh Maher answers that he hopes it will look like the liberation of prisoners in southern Lebanon, but that the best way "is through kidnapping more soldiers and officers of the occupation."
