Following the resolutions issued by the joint Arab-Islamic Summit held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, on Saturday, 11/11/2023:

The terms of "condemnation", "demand", and "call” that filled the final statement suggest as if the statement is issued by an entity unrelated to the massacres committed against the Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank, not by a meeting of 57 countries, which through their statement seem to possess nothing, and are incapable of anything, except for pleading and demanding.

The final statement reflects the Arab and Islamic countries' collective shirking of their duties and distancing themselves from their responsibility in protecting Arab and Islamic national security, and abandoning Palestine and its people to the zionist entity and its Western sponsors.

We express our deep surprise at the content of the final statement regarding "the affirmation of adherence to the 2002 Arab Peace Initiative", and the reminder that "the precondition for peace with 'Tel Aviv' and establishing normal relations with it is ending its occupation of all Palestinian and Arab lands," especially in light of the rush of some Arab regimes to normalize with the entity.

Perhaps the statement would have gained some credibility if the Arab and Islamic countries normalizing relations with the entity had initiated to cut their relations with it, following the example of some Latin American countries, which are neither Arab nor Islamic and have no connection to Palestine and its people.

The resolutions in the final statement send a message to the Arab and Islamic nation that these regimes are now incapable of protecting their people and defending the nation's holy sites, and that their people are left as easy prey for the zionist entity and the American administration.
