The group is named in honor of Abu Jandal (Yousef Ahmed Raihan), a renegade PA officer who, alongside Mahmoud Tawalbeh, led the Battle of Jenin in 2002.
They have issued an ultimatum to the Palestinian Authority and specifically Mahmoud Abbas, demanding that they declare an open confrontation with the zionist enemy within 24 hours, dismissing any statements from the "criminal Blinken." Should their demands go unheeded, this group—comprising dozens from the PA Security Forces—has vowed to break rank and withdraw their allegiance from the PA.
