Today marks the anniversary of martyrdom for revolutionary resistance fighter Imad Aqel of Jabaliya camp, who is credited as the founder of the “zero distance” resistance tactic. This tactic is what inspired the martyrs of late, who took to their weapons and shot at close range. Aqel formed the martyrs brigade wing of Al-Qassam due to harsh security and surveillance: resistance or martyrdom was the only way.
He spent time and effort training the resistance in both Gaza and the West Bank and was referred to as the General of Qassam. One of his operations against zionist army jeeps in Gaza is said to be one of the first recorded resistance attacks. His weapon of choice was the Carlo. Imad engaged and led over 40 operations that killed at least 15 zionist soldiers and injured dozens.

In one particular operation, freedom fighters Harun Nasir al-Din, Imad Aqel and Jamil al-Natsheh set stopped their car 200 meters from the IOF camp near the Ibrahimi Mosque. Jamil remained in the car, while Harun and Imad got out to carry out the operation, armed with two Kalashnikovs and two pistols. When they arrived to the designated firing point, they opened fire at the two zionist guardsmen. The operation resulted in the killing of an IOF soldier, and the injury of another who became paralyzed. The soldiers from the watchtowers started firing in every direction without knowing the source of the fire, and the freedom fighters withdrew from the camp without harm.
This tactic has inspired today’s new generation and the same shock and inability to maneuver by the zionist soldiers is apparent when reflecting upon the operations by Oday Al-Tamimi and Raed Khazim that brought the fragile and temporary entity to its knees.

Imad Aqel’s strategy was so successful that Yitzhak Rabin pleaded with the Aqel family that they encourage Imad to no longer move in the shadows, to come forward, and be exiled to Jordan or Egypt as a truce.
Of course, this was refused. To normalize is traitorous. He, like all revolutionaries, chose resistance or martyrdom, a value today’s resistance amplifies in their rejection of the zionist entity and the Palestinian Authority.
Imad, a legendary freedom fighter, was martyred on this day in 1993 while resisting the invasion of his hideaway. It is said he prayed knowing martyrdom was near, went onto the roof, and descended upon the zionist soldiers to confront them face to face, killing and wounding several before his glorious ascension. Glory to the resistant leader.

On the grave of the martyr Ibrahim AlNabulsi, Ghassan Kanafani's words are written: "Beware of a natural death, and do not die except under a hail of bullets."
Just one day before his martyrdom, Ibrahim asked his older brother Iyad to engrave this phrase, which he considered his life motto, on his tomb. Iyad was abudcted on October 26th by the zionist occupation and placed in 4-month administrative detention without charge or trial. Glory to the martyrs Ibrahim, and may the prisoner Iyad be liberated.

The zionist settlers have been invading Al Aqsa with police protection, assaulting Palestinians, violating the sanctity of Al Aqsa, and leading multiple coordinated invasions.
The recent escalations in Al Quds have come after zionists have consistently desecrated and obstructed access to many holy sites across Palestine, from the Ibrahimi mosque to Joseph’s Tomb, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, and Al Aqsa.

The zionist entity sent a message to Hamas via Egyptian mediators that it will respond firmly if it turns out that the cell that carried out the bombing operation in AlQuds was directed from the Gaza Strip.
Hamas responded by saying:
"We are not the same organization we were in 2002. Hamas will respond with full force to any "israeli" recklessness towards the Gaza Strip.'

Documented in #AlKhalil today: a colonial soldier punched a leftist pro-Palestinian activist and threw him to the ground.
Another soldier threatened: "Ben Gvir will restore order to this place. I am the law here and I say you are acting against the law."

This is the violent, arrogant pig who feels especially emboldened today after the news of Ben-Gvir's new position.
zionist media analysts:
"We are in the midst of a major security escalation and an intifada... We are witnessing an escalation in attacks in which 'israel' is in a defensive position, not an offensive one."

Today, we remember a legendary operation and legendary martyrs. Today marks the 35th anniversary of the Night of the Gliders operation carried out by the Syrian Arab martyr Khaled Aker and the Tunisian Arab martyr Milood bin Al-Najjah on behalf of the PFLP-GC.
Our heroes flew into an IOF base in occupied Palestine on hang gliders all the way from Syrian-controlled South Lebanon armed with AK-47s, silenced pistols, and hand grenades. Aker was captured and martyred. Al-Najjah swept in, killing six IOF soldiers and injuring eight more as he fired his AK at the usurpers without mercy and hurled grenades into IOF tents.
These martyrs were hailed as heroes, and the slogan "six to one" or "6:1" became popular among Palestinians mocking settlers in Gaza. Just two weeks later, the first intifada was declared from Gaza, and this heroic operation undoubtedly sparked it.
Glory to our resistance!

"If we abandon Palestine, then we abandon ourselves."
On the first anniversary of his passing, we remember our comrade, the revolutionary intellectual Samah Idriss. Samah, a Lebanese intellectual, was committed to the Palestinian cause for his entire life. He was a noble man who upheld the Arab and prisoner struggle, particularly surrounding Lebanese struggler Georges Abdallah and Palestinian leader Ahmed Saadat.
As the co-founder of the "Campaign to Boycott Supporters of 'israel'" in Lebanon 20 years ago, he had a vision of an expanded boycott hand-in-hand with resistance that makes zionism untenable wherever its blood-soaked hands may reach. Samah believed, “Popular boycott is part and parcel of 'total resistance,' that also includes armed resistance. Both forms of resistance, civil and armed, are complementary and should not be viewed as mutually exclusive."
Samah embodied the idea that resistance can be waged in all facets of life. His vision of a popular boycott is part of a blueprint for rejecting the entity not only through arms but by refusing to normalize it socially and economically as well. Samah taught us that being Palestinian is about struggling for liberation always.
Onwards on your path, Samah, towards Palestinian and Arab liberation.
