Palestinian Prisoner’s Club:
—
The Palestinian Prisoner’s Club confirmed that the health condition of the prisoner Asif Al-Rifai, 21 years old from the town of Kafr Ein/Ramallah, who is suffering from cancer, is dangerously deteriorating compared to the previous period.
The Club stated that the prisoner Al-Rifai underwent surgery at "Asaf Harofeh" "israeli" hospital, where he was transferred from Ramleh Prison Clinic last Wednesday, following the emergence of a new tumor in the urinary tract that caused major damage to one of his kidneys.
In light of the serious deterioration faced by the prisoner Al-Rifai, the Prisoner’s Club called on all international human rights organizations to intervene immediately for his release, so that he can be with his family and to stop the ongoing crime being committed against him, especially since this deterioration came shortly after medical reports confirmed no improvement in his health condition.
The Prisoner’s Club also pointed out that the prisoner Al-Rifai received treatment after a seven-month delay from the date of his arrest on September 24, 2022, despite medical reports confirming the level of danger he faced during the period of his arrest, which led to the spread of tumors in several parts of his body. It is worth noting that the occupation authorities denied him treatment before his arrest by refusing to grant him a permit for treatment in Al-Quds.
It is worth mentioning that the occupation authorities detain more than 700 sick prisoners in their prisons, including around 200 prisoners suffering from chronic diseases, with 24 prisoners and detainees of them who suffer from cancer and tumors of varying degrees. Today, the case of prisoner Asif Al-Rifai is considered the most difficult and severe.
The Prisoner’s Club holds the "israeli" prison administration full responsibility for the fate of prisoner Al-Rifai and all sick prisoners who face the crime of medical negligence (slow killing) around the clock.

Continuing to target Al-Quds and the Al-Aqsa Mosque will lead to very serious repercussions for the zionist entity.
These assaults and provocations, and the escalation of attacks against our people throughout the occupied land, will not deter our people from their daily struggle.
The frenzied war that the enemy is waging against Al-Quds has become a key mission and agenda on the table of the government of killers and racists led by Netanyahu, Smotrich, and Ben-Gvir.
The invasion today of the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque is carried out with the clear support and green light from the occupation government, which aims to turn the conflict into a religious battle.
The occupation's plans put Al-Aqsa on the mouth of a volcano that could explode in the face of the occupation at any moment.
The battle that our people are fighting is existential in every sense of the word.
The enemy's crossing of all red lines in its aggression and terrorism is sufficient to trigger forms of responses that this enemy has not and will not expect.
We call for carving a new course of struggle that puts all the capabilities, energies, and weapons of our people in the service of confronting the zionist enemy.

Fierce confrontations break out in Shufat camp near #AlQuds as resistant youth target the camp's checkpoint with Molotov cocktails and fireworks, igniting the land below. The IOF has fired flares in response.
Resistance fighters targeted the colonial Dotan checkpoint, #Jenin, with locally-made explosive devices.
Resistance fighters opened fire towards the colonial Salem checkpoint, west of #Jenin.
In an act of economic aggression, the zionist entity responded to the border protests by extending the closing of the "Erez" crossing in northern #Gaza for the next 24 hours, depriving about 20,000 Gazans from working in the occupied interior. The crossing had already been closed this weekend due to the Jewish New Year.
Resistance Shatters Illusions of Normalization:
On this day in 1978, the first major step in a series of normalization agreements came to the fore. Based on the Geneva Conference, the Camp David Accords were signed between the zionist entity and Egypt, paving the way for Madrid, Oslo, Wadi Araba, and the Abraham Accords. Betraying the Arab masses, Anwar Sadat eventually recognized the zionist entity following two weeks of secret negotiations under American auspices. In return, the IOF withdrew from the Sinai Peninsula 11 years after it was occupied, with no concessions granted to the Palestinians. Sadat was assassinated three years later.
Reactionary Arab rulers like Sadat serve their own interests, supporting the zionist agenda, regressing Arab lands under neo-colonial rule. George Habash, months before Camp David, noted that Sadat's regime serves imperialism and is opposed to the Arab liberation project, foreseeing the betrayal on the horizon. Betrayal neared, and the Egyptian masses protested, declaring, "Do not reconcile!," one of the Three Nos, immortalized by Egyptian Arab poet Amal Dunqul in his famed poem.
Egypt today is the second-largest recipient of US military aid after the zionist entity, but this has not stopped the defiant Egyptian people from expressing their will against normalization. The honorable rifle continues to speak louder than the conciliatory pen stroke.
