🚨 BREAKING: Prisoner Khalil Awawdeh is free after the occupation suddenly released him from "Ofer" prison.

After a total of 15 years in prison, this victory comes after a heroic 182-day-long hunger strike that Khalil ended in September 2022. Khalil's freedom was one of the conditions of the August 7 ceasefire following the Unity of the Fields battle of August 2022.

His freedom was delayed by 11 postponements and allegations by the zionist authorities of smuggling a "terrorist phone" to talk with his family, smiling as he was sentenced to an additional 18 months, of which he completed six. Khalil was set to be free on October 2nd, 2022, but this was pushed to September 28th of the next year, and then most recently to December 18th.

He meets family and loved ones today after collective efforts of resistance achieve another victory. #FreeThemAll

Freed prisoner Khalil Awawdeh stated upon his release, "Freedom is a great thing. Our peoples have paid for freedom with thousands and millions of martyrs. Freedom is the dream of the people of Palestine, which will be liberated one day, and the usurper will be expelled from our land and crops. Our rights will be returned. However, patience is the key to release, and unity is the master of the situation."

He added, "The title of individual hunger strikes is resistance against administrative detention. What happened with me after I snatched the date of freedom for October 2nd, 2022, they found a phone with me as I was being transferred from 'Ofer' to 'Ramle' clinic, and they sentenced me to 16 months. They were like a dog finding a bone, wanting to thwart the greatness of this people, but they were disappointed, and lost, and lost."

"As far as my current health condition, I am unable to walk by myself, I have kidney issues, and suffer from tremors in my hands," speaking regarding the effects of his 182-day-long hunger strike.

Khalil saw an early release this morning from "Ofer" prison after 15 years in zionist jails.

Khalil Awawdeh, freed today, spoke previously about understanding the magnitude of sacrifice of those on the front lines of struggle, whether they are on the battlefields of camp alleys, checkpoints, or prisons.

"You should always feel the pain of those who sacrifice for you and those who defend your dignity." Our prisoners defend our collective dignity, both martyr Sheikh Khader Adnan and Khalil Awawdeh recognizing that dignity can only be extracted by force. #FreeThemAll

Peace be upon those who plant joy in every Palestinian home, the steadfast strugglers who fight the battle of empty intestines from inside the walls of zionist prisons.

"Raise the signs of victory! Raise it for all the free people! We are victorious!" #FreeThemAll
