In the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful.
O sons of our great people, and to the free people of the world, greetings of challenge and steadfastness.
In continuation of the policy of aggression against everything Palestinian, in every aspect, the desecration of all that is sacred to us, prisoners and Al-Quds, this ignorant extremist "Ben Gvir" presents us with a new decision that violates our holiest sanctities as prisoners, by reducing our family visits to once every two months. He thinks that we will surrender or tire in confronting his aggression and arrogance.
After tampering with our bread and water, today our mothers, wives, and children are targeted. In light of all this, we must take a stand, and we must take actions that match the magnitude of the aggression. Based on the above, we affirm the following:
Firstly: Our rights, which we have obtained through our blood, and the thousands of tons of flesh in the hunger strikes we have waged, we have not obtained them as a favor or as a commitment to international laws and regulations. Therefore, they are not subject to negotiation or relinquishment.
Secondly: The Supreme National Emergency Committee of the National Prisoners' Movement has decided to start an open hunger strike on Thursday, September 14, 2023, demanding the cessation of all decisions and policies aimed at tightening the noose around us and our living conditions, as well as the restoration of all our rights that have been confiscated during the past period.
Thirdly: Disagreement has arisen among our enemies regarding this decision, not as an acknowledgment of our right or acceptance of this achievement from their part, but rather disagreement over the timing and mechanism of its implementation. This requires us, the prisoners, and our people to not be deceived by what their media presents. It requires us to stand against this aggression and to be prepared and ready for this real confrontation with an enemy that lurks in the allies.
Fourthly: We will make the current month of September a unifying title and a comprehensive month for our two holiest causes: Al-Aqsa for which our people rose up for twenty-three years ago, and the prisoners who will rise up with their people this year until the freedom of our prisoners and our Aqsa is achieved.
Fifthly: The unity embodied by the Prisoners Movement during the past two years has been the guarantee - with the help of Allah - to repel aggression against us, and we strive to further consolidate it day by day. We hope that it will extend to all arenas of Palestinian work and that it will be manifested through the support of our people in this battle.
In conclusion: Our battle with this occupier is an ongoing battle. We can hardly close one chapter before opening another. Readiness and alertness are our constant choice as long as the occupation exists on our land and on our chests.

Armed clashes have broken out between resistance fighters and the IOF invading the town of Tamoun, south of #Tubas.
Political prisoners continue their struggle from inside the cells of the comprador Palestinian Authority.
Over 90 political prisoners—arrested on the background of their resistance, organizing, or dissent—continue to be abducted in Palestinian Authority prisoners. Many of them are resistance fighters, freed prisoners, students, and activists; a number of them are wanted by the occupation and will likely be handed over to the zionist entity as part of the PA's "revolving door" policy.
Hunger strikes:
The engineer Osama Salatneh continues his hunger for the ninth day in refusal of his arrest, despite his deteriorating health condition. He has been held for 32 days.
The freed prisoner Dawood Al-Haroub from #AlKhalil, father of two prisoners, has been kidnapped for 45 days. He is on his 13th day of his hunger strike despite his serious health condition and repeated transfer to hospitals.
Violent repression:
The teacher Mahmoud Qasrawi of Burqin has been abducted once again by the Palestinian Authority, held for 15 days despite his deteriorating health.
The lawyer Mohammed Abu Ma'ala from #Qabatiya was violently abducted in a house raid few days ago by the PA. The reason for Mohammed's arrest was due to him speaking to the media about political arrests in the West Bank a week prior, and he was forced to sign a pledge to not speak to the media. His whereabouts are unknown, but his health is deteriorating.
For over a month, brothers Mufdi, Munadil, Mujahid, and Makin Sa'ada from #Nablus have been kidnapped without charges by the PA in Al-Juneid prison. Mufdi and Munadil are freed prisoners, who have spent time in both PA and zionist prisons. Mufdi has been arrested eight times by the PA, subjected to torture and threats. The brothers face repeated extensions in their detention without a clear reason.
Students on strike:
The Islamic Bloc at Al-Najah University in #Nablus continue their sit-in for the fifth day in protest of the continued arrest of their members by the Palestinian Authority. Last week, Obaida Yamin was abducted. Yaman Dwiekat has been held for 16 days and Baraa Al-Qasrawi for 18 days.
The students are demanding the the university administration halt its repression against the students of the Bloc and allow them freedom to do their work.
Ignoring court orders:
Despite a court decision for their release, Palestinian Authority forces in Tubas continue to detain freed prisoner Yazan Muslimani for the 43rd day, freed prisoner Sahib Ma'moun Sharabati for the 75th day, and the wanted Lions' Den fighter Musab Shtayyeh for 350 days.
PIJ cadre:
The Palestinian Authority continues to detain a number of PIJ members, including but not limited to, Eid Hamamra, Muhammad Al-Alawna, Muhammad Malaysha, Mu'min Fashafsha, Imad Khalilia, and Ahmed Nuwaisra, who have been held for 51 days. Weeks after he was freed from zionist prisons, the PA abducted freed prisoner Nasr Mabrouka, brother of martyr Adham Mabrouka, and he has been held for 21 days.
Further, PIJ leaders Murad Malaysha and Mohammed Brahma have been abducted by the PA in Areeha prison for 63 days despite orders for their release.

Prisoner Ahmed Manasra, who has been imprisoned since he was 13 years old, is slowly losing his sight and showing symptoms of schizophrenia in his second year of solitary confinement in "Ayalon" prison.
