Hundreds of martyrs from Iraq, Yemen, Bahrain, Syria, Lebanon, and Palestine decorate the 1452 poles on the road from Najaf to Karbala united under the same slogan: "the martyrs of Al-Aqsa Sanctuary," affirming that the martyrs of the whole region rise in defense of the same cause.  

The Arbaeen walk, which attracts millions of visitors to Karbala, is seen as an opportunity to raise awareness about the Palestinian cause. This year, pictures of Ibrahim Al-Nabulsi, Mohammed Al-Azizi, Aboud Soboh, Basil Al-Araj and others can be seen throughout the walk. 

The second international Conference of the Call of Al-Aqsa was also held once again, addressing the current Palestinian reality, along with the emerging threats to Al-Aqsa Mosque and the attempts to judaize Al-Quds, with participation of 250 intellectual, scholarly, and cultural figures from 65 countries around the world in the city of Karbala, Iraq. 

The participants unanimously agreed that the main objective to be achieved is the liberation of Palestine from the river to the sea. They emphasized that the decision to reject normalization will remain present not only because it is betrayal but also because it is a crime and religiously forbidden. They expressed their hope that the next meeting will take place in Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque after it is liberated from the zionists. 

Al-Quds is the compass.
