Today marks the 22nd anniversary of the eternal and revolutionary leader, comrade martyr Abu Ali Mustafa, the Secretary-General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine for whom the PFLP's armed wing is named after.
Abu Ali, upon his return to Palestine in 1999 after 32 years in exile stated, "We have returned to resist; on the thawabet, we do not compromise," after having established the PFLP with George Habash. Shortly after, Yasser Arafat met with Bill Clinton to redefine the fundamental Palestinian principles, the thawabet, increasing security coordination with the zionist enemy and conceding Palestinian land.
The betrayal of Oslo and the continued collaboration between the PA, the zionists, and imperialist forces demanded the urgent presence of Abu Ali Mustafa to lead and represent the millions of Palestinians who rejected the PA’s normalization. The masses rejected the acceptance of USAID to buy them off, security coordination with the enemy, and land concessions. He returned to invoke the popular NO of the masses. Abu Ali once stated, "The Palestinian Authority and the occupation cooperate in striking the Palestinian armed struggle."
Abu Ali oversaw some of the PFLP's most effective operations during his leadership, despite his short tenure during the second intifada.
On this day in 2001, two missiles were fired from an IOF Apache helicopter towards his office. The above video links one of Abu Ali's most famous speeches with the poem "Launch" by Basil Bazrawi, dedicated to the PFLP.
"No one can buy us off, for the enemy is an enemy that has attacked us, attacked humanity, and attacked humankind."
"As long as the occupation exists on our land, resistance will remain a legitimate right."
We encourage you to read Samidoun Network's biography of Abu Ali Mustafa here.

Abu Ali Mustafa was succeeded as the PFLP's Secretary-General by imprisoned comrade Ahmed Sa'adat, who did not delay in getting revenge. On the day of Abu Ali's assassination, the Red Eagles Brigades assassinated Meir Lixenberg, who oversaw a number of West Bank settlements.
Ahmed Sa'adat sought to avenge his comrade who had ascended: "An eye for an eye. A tooth for a tooth. A head for a head." Nothing less could avenge.
Sa'adat delivered these historic words in his first speech, renaming the Red Eagles Brigades in Abu Ali's honor, and redefining the PFLP's motto, vowing revenge. Days later on October 17th, PFLP commandos assassinated zionist minister Rehavam Ze'evi to avenge Abu Ali Mustafa.
Heroes Majdi Al-Rimawi, Hamdi Qaraan, and Basil Al-Asmar booked themselves into the Hyatt Regency in Al-Quds with fake passports to prepare for the day of glory. Equipped with silencers, Hamdi spotted Ze'evi, grabbing his attention with a nonchalant "hey." Ze'evi turned around, and three silent bullets pierced the minister's skull.
For this speech and the ensuing operation, Ahmed Sa'adat, the heroes of the operation, and Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades commander-in-chief Ahed Abu Ghulma were kidnapped by the Palestinian Authority in January 2002, kept in the infamous Areeha prison under the auspices of Jibril Rajoub and Tawfiq Tirawi (additional link). Guarded by American, Canadian, and British guards, the PA handed Sa'adat over to the zionist entity in March 2002. Today, Sa'adat leads the PFLP from "Ramon" prison, where he and PFLP leadership continue to face abuse at the hands of the zionists.

The Libyan people said #NoToNormalization and succeeded!
After news of the Libyan Foreign Minister's unauthorized meeting with the zionist entity’s Foreign Minister leaked, the people of Libya took to the streets to demonstrate their outright refusal for such traitorous event to take place.
Shortly after the Foreign Minister landed back in Tripoli, she was fired from her position, and an investigation into the criminality of her actions was approved by the Prime Minister. Local sources report that the traitorous ex-Foreign Minister has fled Tripoli to Turkey.
In celebration of her firing, and in a message of solidarity with the Palestinian people, Libyans flew Palestinian flags up high in Tripoli, letting the world know that their honor and conscience was not for sale.

Prisoner Osama Daqrouq of Salfit is victorious against the zionist jailer on his 22nd day of hunger strike, achieving a cap on his administrative detention. He has suspended his hunger strike after an eight-month-long detention and repeated administrative detention orders.
Yesterday, four administrative detainees ended their hunger strikes after promises to limit the length of their administrative detention, which is indefinitely renewable.
Four prisoners in zionist jails continue their hunger strikes: Kayed Fasfous and Sultan Khallouf (26 days), Abdulrahman Baraqa (19 days), and Maher Al-Akhras (6 days), who has had his detrntion extended by a week.

🟡🟢 Secretary General of Hezbollah Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah:
—
Any assassination on Lebanese soil that targets a Lebanese, Palestinian, Iranian, or any person, will certainly yield a strong reaction and will not be tolerated. We will not allow Lebanon to become a battleground for assassinations again.
Faced with the escalating resistance in the West Bank and “israeli” incapacity, Netanyahu escaped by portraying what is happening in the West Bank as an Iranian plan.
The resistance in the occupied West Bank is a pure Palestinian will.
Throughout the conflict with the resistance, the “israeli” enemy has carried out extensive assassinations. Did it manage to shake the steadfastness of the resistance?
Neither threats nor their execution will stop the resistance and its movements. On the contrary, they will increase its stubbornness, determination, and strength.
The enemy must acknowledge that it is in a historical, existential, and strategic predicament and will find no way out of it.

⚠️ The Drums of War Beat (1/4):
The intensity of the regional situation has reached unprecedented heights that may be overlooked. The resistance is ready:
• Hamas leader Saleh Al-Arouri, in the midst of explicit assassination threats, is confident of the ability to expel the occupation: "We will drive them out," calling on Palestinian youth everywhere to resist in the same interview. For Al-Mayadeen, he reaffirmed the resistance's readiness for the major war and the resistance's capability to shut down the enemy's "electricity, telecommunications, and economy."

⚠️ The Drums of War Beat (2/4):
Arouri's messaging aligns with that of Hezbollah's Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah, who told the enemy two weeks ago, "We will send you back to the stone age," threatening precise missile strikes on major zionist infrastructure. Hezbollah's actions on the Lebanese-Palestinian border have escalated, sending the enemy into a frenzy. Today, Nasrallah stated, "Any assassination on Lebanese soil that targets a Lebanese, Palestinian, Iranian, or any person, will certainly yield a strong reaction and will not be tolerated."

⚠️ The Drums of War Beat (3/4):
• "The battle for liberation of the West Bank is on the table." Arouri's statement is strongly supported by the statements of Hamas to Egyptian mediators—
Hamas told the mediators that the condition for stopping the war—should the zionists continue the assassinations—is complete zionist withdrawal from the West Bank. Zionist advisors failed to promise to halt the assassinations. Hamas promised operations would escalate.

⚠️ The Drums of War Beat (4/4):
• Arouri's appearance in a military uniform yesterday comes in the context of increased West Bank operations by Al-Qassam Brigades, who have claimed responsibility for some of the most deadly operations of the year, including "Eli", "Kedumim", both Huwara operations, "Tel Aviv" operations, and the Al-Khalil operations.
• Gaza's resistance has also launched a number of long-range missile tests in recent weeks. Further, settlers have repeatedly been advised to avoid Palestinian areas to avoid being captured to liberate prisoners.
• Arouri sends silent messages to the enemy with this picture: the three phones indicate his constant communication with various fronts—the Unity of the Fields, the M-16 symbolizes increased operations in the West Bank, and his smile indicates his confidence in the impending victory.

Abdulghani was kidnapped by the Palestinian Authority a few weeks ago along with several of his colleagues.
