The Front emphasized that the qualitative Huwara operation carries important implications and messages, foremost among them is that the occupied West Bank, despite all forms of aggression, killings, arrests, and targeting of holy sites, continues to achieve heroic acts and sacrifices, persisting on the path of resistance as a steadfast approach.
The Popular Front stated that the Huwara operation constituted a security failure for the occupation and a blow to those who delude themselves into thinking that the resistance can be stopped, as it was shattered by the bullets and grenades of the heroic fedayeen, along with the continuous expansion of the circle of confrontation and the popular cradle of its heroes.

The resistance fighter of today's Huwara operation fired only five shots from point-blank range using a pistol, after making sure that the targets were settlers before killing both of them.
Huwara has been declared a closed military zone. Entry and exit are prohibited, and its shops are closed. The IOF are assaulting journalists and prevented them from filming at the site of the shooting operation.
Searches for the fighter continue. The fighter reportedly escaped on foot, and the IOF's response was delayed because it believed the dead were Palestinians.
