Today, we honor the anniversary of the martyrdom of Ibrahim Al-Nabulsi, the Lion of Nablus. We salute a guardian who fearlessly, tirelessly protected our soil and its steadfast people. This day does not merely mark an end, for while all people die with their…
Despite his age, Ibrahim (nicknamed Abu Fathi) offered much to the nation. His steadfast mother carries her son's immense legacy, preserving the Lion's heroism and sacrifices for his homeland and religion. Abu Fathi never stopped fighting; in a video below, he can be seen insisting on fighting despite his comrade pulling him away.
The Old City that he was raised in became the den of the Lions' Den, and where the occupation chased him until his martyrdom. To the people of the Old City, he was known as a kindhearted person who was always smiling, always kind with children. Ibrahim once wrote about these children, seeing great potential in them, "They are great leaders like Osama ibn Zayd or Mohammed Al-Fatih."
Ibrahim learned the lessons of the intifadas from the greats before him in order to turn the Old City into a fortress to house the incipient Lions' Den. They monitored, watched, and guarded, and Ibrahim became a major leader himself.
After his arrest by the PA, he started creating and developing explosive devices. Today, the Nablus Brigade uses the new Nabulsi-1 in his honor.
Many assassination attempts were made on the Lion of Nablus, leading the zionist media to nickname him "the man with nine lives." In fact, Ibrahim still lives among us all and in every bullet.

In a surprise decree, expired president Mahmoud Abbas ordered today the retirement of 12 of 16 PA governors across Palestine, who learned that they were losing their jobs through the media without direct communication from Abbas. Abbas did not announce his own retirement, despite his term ending 14 years ago and 80% of Palestinians calling for his resignation.
These include the governors of Jenin, Nablus, Qalqilya, Tulkarem, Bethlehem, Al-Khalil, Tubas, and Areeha, as well as the symbolic governors of northern Gaza, Gaza City, Khan Younis, Rafah (4/5 in the Gaza Strip). The governors of Deir Al-Balah, Salfit, Ramallah, and Al-Quds were spared.
Various reactions followed. Retired Gaza governor Ibrahim Abu Al-Naja remarked, "I do not accept to hear the news of my retirement from the media." The retired anti-resistance Jenin governor Akram Rajoub expressed his shock, "I was not previously informed of the decision to refer to retirement. I learned of the decision from the media, and I do not know what are the reasons for this decision." The governors of Areeha (Jihad Abu Al-Assal) and Qalqilya (Rafi Rawajbeh) expressed similar sentiment, expressing their confusion and surprise. Tulkarem governor Issam Abu Bakr happily stated, "We don't know what the reasons are, and we are committed to the president's decision."
No reason was given for the move by the incompetent Authority to evacuate its useless governors, but Abbas issued a decree to form a "presidential committee" to fill these now-vacant positions.
This change surfaces as the PA nears financial collapse and is desperately making moves to strengthen its position by meeting with and increasing security coordination with the zionist enemy, who has rewarded the comprador PA, coming just a week after the failed reconciliation meeting in Cairo.

Zionist courts decided on Wednesday to release the killers of 19-year-old martyr Qusay Ma'tan from the village of Burqa, Ramallah. The settlers are "Elisha Yered" and "Yehiel Indor."
Qusay Ma'tan was martyred last Friday evening, and two others were injured, as a result of settlers attacking the residents of the village, east of Ramallah.
The "israeli" Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, demanded the granting of an "appreciation medal" and legal immunity to "Elisha Yered," the settler who fired the shots using Indor's gun. This settler worked directly for Ben-Gvir's party, "Otzma Yehudit."
Despite ample evidence from Palestinian hospitals and zionist intelligence, the illegitimate court's decision came on the grounds of "insufficient evidence" to "establish a reasonable suspicion of their involvement in the murder" or additional charges of arson and obstruction of justice. Notably, zionist police stated that the settler admitted to burying the weapon used in the settler outpost of "Ramat Migron," and settlers and politicians celebrated the murderer's release.
The central occupation court decided to release the settler and place him under house arrest, while the other injured settler will be released tomorrow. Such impunity occurs amidst an escalation of settler violence in the occupied West Bank, following hundreds of cases of attacks on Palestinians and Palestinian properties in recent months, emboldened by the extremist government and negligent Palestinian Authority.
Meanwhile, four Palestinians who were defending their land from the settler attacks in Burqa remain imprisoned and will be brought to court in the coming days.

The release of one of the murderers of the martyr Ma'atan confirms the collusion of the zionist judicial system in protecting killers and terrorists and in executing the policies of the fascist occupation.
The decision of the zionist occupation judiciary to release one of the settlers involved in the murder of the martyr Qusay Ma'atan, who was martyred during a terrorist attack launched by groups of settlers supported by the occupation army, in the village of Burqa east of Ramallah, is considered a zionist judicial statement supporting the terror of killer settler militias, covering up their crimes, protecting them from accountability, and encouraging them to continue their violations against our unarmed Palestinian people.
This fascist decision reaffirms the collusion of the zionist judicial system and its role in terrorizing our Palestinian people, attempts to displace them and Judaize their lands, and that it is an occupation tool to implement the policies of terrorist occupation. In this context, we emphasize that these criminal actions will only be met with more steadfastness and resilience on the land and escalation of resistance against the occupation and its settlers.
