Prisoner Kayed Fasfous is on his third day of hunger strike in protest of his administrative detention.
Kayed is among the six Palestinian prisoners who underwent an open-ended hunger strike in protest of their administrative detention in 2021.
He gained his freedom in November 2021 after 131 days, before the occupation courts decided on May 7th to sentence him to six months of administrative detention again, which can be renewed indefinitely. He has spent eight years of his life in zionist prisons.
Kayed has recently undergone a nine-day hunger strike which he suspended on June 8th of this year after an agreement was reached to set a limit on his administrative detention.
There are currently ten Palestinians on hunger strike in zionist prisons, five of whom are undertaking it in protest of their administrative detention.
