This is not all, but their fierceness and the plight of their fighters appeared in the death traps that were awaiting the enemy ground forces on the outskirts of Gaza, killing and injuring dozens of them, and capturing a number of them to execute the promise of the resistance leadership: that the ground war will be a disaster for the occupier, and the long-awaited hope for our prisoners for freedom and liberation.

The Asf Al-Ma'koul battle set the stage for what followed in terms of parity with the occupier, new equations, more preparation, and more advanced industries. It led to a legendary performance in the Saif Al-Quds battle, which constituted by the grace of Allah a significant turning point in our struggle with the occupier, imposed a different reality on the ground, new rules of engagement, and reinforced the principle of linkage between the fronts and fields.
We saw the enemy wailing when Gaza was launching and the West Bank was continuing and the interior was revolting and the borders were blazing. That battle proved that the resistance is mature, not adolescent; it adopts the principle of accumulation, communication, and preparation as facilitated for it in the face of a comprehensive siege and cutting off supply lines. It digs into the rock and manufactures its weapon with its own hands, and it cuts from the food of its children what it triumphs with for its people and its sanctities and disgraces the face of the occupation with it.
