In a black comedy show in which most of the actors were Palestinian Authoriy Security Forces from outside Jenin camp in military uniform or civilian clothes, PA President Mahmoud Abbas delivered his speech today in Jenin, as the residents of the camp nearly drown him out with their chants for the Jenin Brigade.

Abbas shamelessly claimed, “The hand that stretches out for the unity, security, and stability of our people will be cut off from its roots,” completely overlooking the complicity of the PA in the invasion of Jenin and the pain its residents suffered. "We will plant one thousand olive trees for the one that was uprooted," he said while holding a prop, in reference to false "peace" deals with the enemy.

Providing the masses with innovative ideas, Abbas suggested, "We must get rid of the occupation. We say to them: leave us! We will stay here. We are sitting here. You, leave us!" It is unclear how this will be achieved without resistance.

Despite the clear anti-resistance stance from within the resistance stronghold, children of the camp sang for the fighters of the Jenin Brigade inside PA vehicles while holding Palestinian flags. Popular events with the President were canceled after the families of the martyrs said they were not going to attend, and Abbas could not move except surrounded by dozens of guards protecting him, fearing the people’s anger. It remains to be seen whether the armed forces will remain in the camp, as was previously reported.

A sea of red berets prevailed over Jenin camp today during Abbas' visit. Between the PA officers in uniform and those paid to attend without one, the attendance was inflated and constrained to create the appearance of support for the PA's traitorous policies.

Four days ago, the Intelligence Services of the traitorous Palestinian Authority silently kidnapped PIJ leader Jamal Hamamreh after a series of interrogations. He is a freed prisoner who has previously undergone a 62-day hunger strike as well of one of hundreds of Hamas and PIJ cadre exiled to Lebanon in 1992 in the mass deportation.

Today, his family organized a demonstration calling for his release in front of the prosecution office in #Bethlehem in protest of his political arrest.

A video came to light of Jamal's niece speaking about how undercover masked men in black cars (i.e PA) assaulted the family members moments after the protest: beating them, insulting them, threatening them with weapons, seizing their phones, and attempting to seize their car.

Miqdad Qawasmeh, one of the six Palestinian prisoners who snatched their freedom in November 2021, after he underwent a 113-day-long hunger strike in protest of his administrative detention without charge or trial, holds his newborn daughter Elya for the first time. Her name was chosen after one of the names of the city of Al-Quds.

Miqdad writes: ”I still remember that day when the [occupation] prison warden used to visit me every week in my cell and tell me, 'Your hunger strike will not benefit you, you will not be released, you will not get married, you will not have children, and you will be without a family!' He did not realize what I knew and saw, and what I believed in. God forbid that He would leave us alone and forget us before and after, unless we change. I thank God for the safety of the soul of my heart and my other half, my wife and the companion of my journey, and may God honor her with health and offspring."
