The Progressive Palestinian Youth Union [in Gaza] launched the "Martyr Ghassan Kanafani Program for Talented and Future Leaders (The Course of the Revolutionary Intellectual Martyr Basil Al-Araj).
The Union affirmed, "This program aims to discover and nurture talented and creative individuals in all fields, including administrative, partisan, and skills-related disciplines, in order to instill a sense of belonging, build future leaders, and foster an creative, innovative, and educated generation to unleash their potentials and talents.
The Union stated, "75 talented children will participate in the course, and a meeting will be held for the participating children and their parents, with the aim coordination and cooperation to ensure the success of the program, based on the principles of partnership and collective responsibility, to create a conscious generation and a cadre equipped with capabilities and competencies that qualify them to independently deal with the requirements of the era, and to be culturally and intellectually qualified.
The students enrolled in the course will undergo cultural, educational, and national training, as well as technical training courses based on computer foundations, software, website interface design, and Photoshop. The training will be hosted by two training centers, one in Gaza and the other in Khan Yunis.

On the ninth anniversary of the Battle of Al-Asf Al-Ma’koul:
Our battle with the enemy continues in all arenas of the homeland, and the popular solidarity with the resistance paves the way towards liberation and return.
This year, our people commemorate the ninth anniversary of our people and our brave resistance's victory in the Gaza Strip against the zionist occupation in the heroic Battle of Al-Asf Al-Ma’koul, along with the victory achieved by the resistance fighters, revolutionaries, and people of Jenin and its camp, in their response to the aggression, thwarting the fascist enemy government's plans to undermine the will of our revolutionary people and youth, and to suppress the rising flame of resistance throughout the occupied West Bank. This commitment confirms that the unity of our people and our resistance is unbreakable, and that it is capable of thwarting the plans of the occupation and making it pay the price for its aggression and crimes against our land, people, and sanctities. The terrorism of the occupation will only increase our determination and adherence to comprehensive resistance as a way to snatch our rights and liberate our land and sanctities.
Every year, on the seventh of July, our Palestinian people recall an important station of the struggle and victory against the zionist enemy, the Battle of Al-Asf Al-Ma’koul. Its heroics, sacrifices, and surprises constituted a distinctive landmark and a prominent symbol of resistance and struggle, along with the preceding Battle of Al-Furqan and the successive stages of struggle on all levels, including political, military, media, and popular, and last but not least the Saif (Sword of) Al-Quds battle, the Revenge of the Free battle, and the Fury of Jenin battle. These battles will not break the will of our people but increase our strength, determination, and readiness to respond to aggression, defending our land, Al-Quds, Al-Aqsa, and prisoners, deterring the occupation, and consolidating equations and paths in confrontation with it, until it is defeated from our land and all our legitimate rights are snatched.
In all those critical stages in the journey of our resistance, we remember with pride and appreciation the heroism and sacrifices of the brave men of our resistance, mourn the convoys of our righteous martyrs, pray for the speedy recovery of the wounded and injured, and salute and strengthen the hands of our people and steadfast families, who embodied the basic cradle and support for the resistance in the Gaza Strip and throughout the occupied West Bank. 🟢 The Martyr Izz El-Din Al-Qassam Brigades shared a video commemorating the heroic "Zikim" naval base invasion operation that took place on this day in 2014 during the Asf Al-Ma'koul battle. It was a fatal and surprising blow for the dying entity.
On July 8th, 2014, four Al-Qassam naval commandos set off from the shores of Gaza to the shores of occupied Asqalan. 8 kilometers south of the occupied city, the "Zikim" IOF naval base is a frequent missile target of the resistance in Gaza.
Prior to the execution of the operation, Al-Qassam reconnaissance units monitored the naval base for hours to ensure a clear entry for the naval commando unit. The four commandos then advanced and intensely clashed with the enemy soldiers, including directly planting a high-impact explosive device on an enemy tank from point blank range. The operation was a fatal blow to the enemy's placebo of security, embarrassing their leaders. The fighters killed multiple IOF soldiers and injured many others.
The four heroes of the naval commando unit that infiltrated the IOF naval base were martyred by an enemy airstrike while withdrawing after having successfully completed their mission. The heroic martyrs are: Hasan Al-Hindi, Khaled Al-Hilo, Bashar Abid, and Mohammad Abu Diyeh.

🚨 Occupation authorities have asked settlers in the settlement of “Kedumim” between #Nablus and #Qalqilya to remain in their homes for fear of infiltration by resistance fighters. Update: Gunfire is heard in the area.
Update: Settlers remain panicked and sensitive after their defeat in Jenin and operations within settlements in the last week. The IOF has asked settlers in "Kedumim" to return to their normal, colonial lives without specifying the nature of the incident. The IOF had fired flares above the settlement moments ago.
